SoCal 's monthly San Bernardino rotary meet: Second Saturday of each month.
Hey guys, i just realized the formula D finals at Irwindale are on the same day of our next meet Oct.14th. Does anybody plan/ or want to go there after our morning drive. If there is alot of of us going we might think about doing a run up the Azusa Canyon up the back side of Mt. Baldy where they filmed "Chasing the touge". It is about 10mn.from Irwindale and is between San Bernardino and the event so it'son the way. Just an idea. Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Damon

OH CRAP!!! 27 days till Sevenstock and i haven't started on my car yet. Anyway Jesse, I got every monday till SS so we can get started. I believe all I need now is a trans. So I will make a few phone calls today.
I got the clutch, so I'm not sure what else we will need.
So if anyone has a N/A trans they want to sell hit me up!!!

we picked up jessie's car today...it was a bitch getting it on and off the trailer, but we emerged victorious with no vehicular damage
and since i couldn't sleep (insomnia sucks)... i figured i might as well do something useful.
alternator relocation was a snap, but i'm not yet sure what i'll have to do to make sure the fd alt. lines up perfectly with the main pulley. i'll get to that later.
stock fuel line up to where the stock fuel filter would have been. if you look at the one pic of the hose by the radiator, i used adhesive-lined heat shrink tube to keep the end from fraying. it's so freaking ghetto when someone clamps a braided line onto a hard line and lets it fray.....white trash style (ahem....anjew). this way, it'll stay nice and clean until we do the complete -8 fuel system in the future.
also notice the clamps and hangars.. that'll keep everything in its place for the long haul so he'll never have to worry about lines rubbing against ****.

hey guys... how many of you are comming to the meet? It looks like a few of the RX-8 people (maybe even me) are not going to be able to make it this time around. this is a good time for the seven people to take the meet over!!! I would love to see that.
riceburner.... as long as i get the car back in a good amount of time (hell, even 2-3days) i should have it broken in..... ill just drive back and forth to palm springs for a few days after i get off work to get those 500 miles racked on... dave says at the worst, i should get it back a week before ss9...
yeah, there will be a few rx8's not showing up, but no big deal... it doesnt matter the quantity of cars.. just that anyone who can make, please do so, and we'll have a good time
