no worries bro.

i was gonna put the meecrotech in the stock location, but if you have a better idea (within a foot or two because the harness is already made) i can move it a bit.

gimme a call tomorrow and we'll talk about more details.

he he he.... no. those are called pointer cones. they tell you which direction to go, or which side of the cone you are to be on. unless youare sitting in the car they can look like they are just laying down.

in the pics below I put arrows showing you. the drawing has a blue circle. that was the turn in the pic.

on a practice day 12-18 laps.

on a race day only 3 laps. that is part of the skill. learning how to "master" a new course in 3 laps.

every cone you knock over is 2 seconds added to your time. If I ran a 60.000 and hit a cone, my time is 62.000 seconds.

If you ran a 61.000 and hit 0 cones, your time is 61.000 and you just beat me.

(your next question is how much does it cost and where do I do it right? )

Practice days ~$60
Race days $30 or $35 (I forgot) for non members and $25 for members. (to join for the year its $30 I think) I mostly do it at California speedway.

some times the course is real tight, sometimes even shift down to first tight (in a turn or two). and some are wide open touching 3rd gear for a bit. on an RX-8 2nd gear pulls about 65 - 70, (so start of 3rd would be 75 - 80.)
