So Cal Auto Cross Thread - Fontana
Either the Ksport or D2 coilovers . . . . . .or the GC with Konis.
Everyone swears by the weld in ground controls with the Koni yellows. But the coilovers are SO much easier to install.
The wheels are still up in the air, pretty much anything 15" and lite. Tires will be street tires. Since it is going to be a street driven car, I want the tires to last for a little longer than r-compound can deliver.
Kinda sucks because with all the mods, it will be kicked in to a very high class. But to keep it registered, I can do very little to the motor. So I will be in a class with race prepped cars, but mine will be stock. So no trophies for the Beagle, just lots of fun wherever I go.

Will the super charged engine move you out of CSP for autocross?
go with what the racers swear by. they know what they are talking about. if this car is going to see a lot of track time, you want to know you have the killer setup, not 2nd best.

The supercharged motor, and the fact that it will be completely gutted are the 2 things making it move up in class.
If I go by the NASA time trial rules, it will be competitive, but according to the SCCA it would have to be classified as a modded class. So I would be going up against heavily modded cars in my mostly stock car.

But he is fast.

FDs take 285s easy. In fact the SM2 natl champ FD from 2007-2008 runs 285f, 305 rear, with only rolled fenders. Its all about the right offset.

not this year. I keep trying to get her to take the new kid inside her for a spin, but she keeps telling me "noooo it's not heeeaaaalthy for the baaaaaby... blah blah blah."
I keep trying to tell her that MY kid would be just fine. he can handle the G-forces. It'd be like training...... she still said no.
but the ladys school is very cool. its a practice day for women only. Michelle did it once and she loved it. without guys there, it really takes the pressure off to do well. and its expected that 90% of the students know absolutly nothing about driving fast.
guys are welcome to pick up cones.... thats about it.

Then ran the ProSolo the next weekend. Jessica must have liked it because we had to force her out a few days later. We know of a number of other women that have done the same thing. Her Dr told us it was safer than driving on the street.
