sick of pistonheads
ive already replaced the motor in the civic, not even a month after i got it, yet the fb is still running strong. so that should prove a point.
i spent what i spent on my rx7 across a span of three years, in one month on the civic. thats 1800 dollars in one month, versus 1800 across 3 years. and that included paint, wheels, etc on the 7, it was 1800 just to get the civic running again, thats why i have rotary tattoed on me, not piston

How the hell do you drive? Redline all day everyday?
How many miles do you have on that civic?

If you continue to drive it like a senior citizen, I bet it will still be brand new 20 years from now and still rolling on original tires.

cept you can't get your keys out of it. there's seriously about 400 pages of people screaming for a recall on the tumbler in pre 05 focuses and the dealership is gonna give you the same line it gives everyone. "Sorry that'll be 350.00"
There's a guy on the focus boards that will sell you one for 85 shipped. I used him and was very pleased. I put his thread at the top of the ones below for when yours goes out.
At least when it happened to me the key didn't get stuck in the switch. I was LUCKY that I could drilled it out and start it with a screwdriver until the 05 tumbler arrived.
Seriously, upgraded.

EricGrau made one of the dumbest posts in this thread about gas mileage/power and the LS1. You my friend are a moron.
LS1's get 28mpg+ because they have a 6 speed with a .50 ratio double overdrive. Meaning at 80mph they putt along at 1200-1800rpm depending upon rear end gears. Their 0-60mph and 1/4 mile times will crush 95% of the modified rotaries on the road with a few simple bolt ons... and have no issues with blowing up due to simple issues (sensors going back, bad batch of gas, fueling problems etc).
Stick to your engine that has 3 moving parts.... I don't think your brain can handle anything much more complex.

The Focus is doing. No issues so far. It's a '00 with only 60k on it though, so who knows. *knock on wood*. As soon as it starts to bite the dust. New Audi/Cadi/Mazda time.
