oh bilffle, keep us posted, I'd like to know the answer too, i'd also be concerned about what the tailpipe numbers would look like with sterling, because i'd think it will pass the visual...

To cops, any asian kid that doesn't have a bowl cut is a gangbanger (at least that's what it was like when I was a teen). Getting pulled over is one thing, but getting pulled over -- specifically to be searched! -- is a completely different thing. Whether you want to believe it or not, race is very much an issue. Next time a cop pulls you over and immediately asks to search your car followed by "so, who do you roll with? what's your claim to fame?" you can tell me that I'm generalizing. Let me know the next time a cop keeps TELLING you what gang you're supposedly from, and that he knows you and that you belong to some gang you've never heard of.

I don't want to sound too harsh to the people that really don't believe this to be a race issue, but I'm not giving examples of things that happened once or twice, I'm talking about being harassed on a regular basis. It got to a point where getting pulled over was routine. I never even worried about getting a ticket since they usually just let you go after searching your car.
Sorry, should have been more clear. Race is a determining factor on whether you will be harassed or not. Not all cops are like this, but a good majority in large cities are racist. They almost have to be to be accepted in the fraternity.

I think the only time i can drive my car is on track only !!!!

Is that mean, most of asian have to drive US domestic car instead of Jap car ? so that we could cover our ***.... It is not fair.

RX-7 boys are funny. After 10 pages of moaning and whinning, they still cant find a solution. Maybe I should just sell this junker of mine and stick with datsun.

Actually Looney a solution has been brought up. Now if anyone will actually man up and get it started is another question. I would like to, but being deployed to the middle east by the military kind of puts a damper on those plans. Trust me, I would never be dumb enough to bitch and not have a solution in mind.

I got a solution. Buy a pre-1976 cars. No need for smog inspection. But again, it take skills as most of the rotary boys just like the bolt-on stuff. Im not trying to be an *** but its just my observation.
