Eyewitness report, hate to be the first to post this. And who ever swbooking is, stop making a fool of yourself.

"Hi to you all. I just wanted to give you the info I experienced first hand. My sons and I were traveling down the hill this a.m. The older white mazda was traveling at a high rate of speed. He passed us. Three to four seconds later he lost control and we witnessed him cross over and hit the female driver of the white saturn coupe. It was one of the worst things I have ever experienced. The driver of the mazda died at the scene. The female driver of the saturn was air lifted. My heart and prayers are with all of the family members on both sides. Please ask your friends and family members to slow down...."

WOW i cannot believe this, dave was a TRUE friend, i just don't know what to say right now, i've never had a friend die before, suddenly i remember the last time i talked to him, which was quite a while, i told him a problem i was having with the car, he said he would work on it on new years eve for free even

RIP DAVE

dave had a momo steering wheel with no airbag, the driver seat was an RX8 seat with NO seatbelt, and his front end had NO bumper support. His car must have crushed like a soda can I guess he was passing the car ahead of him and had no time to get back into his lane when he struck the white saturn.

WOW!!! That really makes it hit home. That picture has my car in the background. That was my first San Bern meet, and the first time I ever met Dave.

Dave was one of the most helpful, kind, happy people on earth. He was always there to help someone, no matter what the circumstances. He simply cared about getting every rotary car to where it's owner wanted it. I think anyone here that's even heard about him knows he would never, ever intentionally put someone's life in danger. I guess **** just happens sometimes, often to some of the best people. Condolences to the woman and her family, and major condolences to Dave's family, and everyone that's part of his rotary family as well.

R.I.P. Dave!!!!!!

It is always very painful when a valued member of the community passes away. I have known Dave for years, but only via email. This is truly unbelievable, I am in complete shock.

Dave you will be missed by many many people.

I didn't know Dave but I would always see his posts and he seemed pretty acknowledgeable and down to earth guy. Still pretty shocking to hear what happened.

RIP. Everyone has to die, some sooner than others. Always remember to wear your seatbelts. They are sometimes a bitch, but are life savers. My sister was killed for not wearing one in an auto accident.

I meet Dave a few times, and he came to my house twice to help get things going, I was trying to get some money saved up to have him do a rebuild for me. I recommend all my rotary friends to go to him for help with there cars. It's sad that Dave is gone. He will be missed greatly! R.I.P.
