Never met him, but his posts and his responses to my questions were very informative and helpful.
Thoughts & prayers to his family & friends.
Perhaps you can have a 21-FD "parking" salute @ the Funeral, if his sister approves . . .
RIP

wow, thats horrible news. I never met him but learned alot from his posts. I was thinking maybe flowers could be sent to the lady in critical condition or something. I know if I was in his shoes looking down from heaven I would be praying that lady I hit would pull thru........ I think it would be a cool move to show that we cared.

There's gotta be a 21 rotor backfire salute after the services for this well know known, loved, and appreciated rotorhead.
My condolences and prayers to him and the family.

Like a few have said I thought this was a joke...**** still doesn't sink in right. I was planning on visiting him once I moved to Socal...it's a shame I didn't get to meet him at SevenStock either. At least he went with the rotary...
Many times "guitarjunkie" would give me good advice on these forums, Although i did not know him personally, i felt that he was a great guy and helped this community a lot.
I am speechless and shivering in disbelief that i'm reading this. I feel like it's a nightmare.

im sorry i never got to go out on the runs with everyone, dumbass of me could never get up from working late the nite before, i did see his work tho in jesses car and that was some great work, im sorry i never got to meet him, but from what jesse and casey tell me he was a terrrific guy, my condolences to his whole family.
Well I have nothing much to say, I never met the guy or talked to him, however after reading 14 pages of this thread and the numerous pages of theading in the lounge I find myself doing everything possible to hold back the tears...
I dont remember reading it but if ANYONE knows of any memorial fund or anything that I can contribute to please pm me the info..
It is a sad day when somone dies, a worse day when it is somone who has made an impact on as many people here as I can see he has. Again I never meet, or talked to the guy but he was a RX7 guy and thats enough for me to give my condolences
Take care bro, sounds like u left a dynasty and I KNOW you will not be forgotten...
Best wishes go out to his family and closest friends...
And to those who know him.. take care.

My brother called me around 6pm and told me the horrible news, i couldn't believe it when i heard it, and like many of u have already stated, i wanted it to be a bad joke. My condolences go to his family, friends and to all of those who knew him and never got to meet him in person. My bro and Dave were planning on partnering up to open up a rotary shop together, and now i feel really bad about all this. This has truly been a tremendous loss to the rotary community and to his loved ones. Rest In Peace DAVE!!!!!! we'll miss you a lot!!!
