Good Update: Sorry for the lack of updates... nearly all of the parts are in and we are full speed ahead on the sets we have currently have. I'll post up some pictures shortly

Bad Update: Still no word on the last 8+ sets... we are still waiting to hear back from a few vendors. I wish we had better news on the missing housings front. To make sure everyone is aware of what is going on, here's what's up :

We've received responses from various vendors regarding why they are out of stock on housings. I've heard stories everywhere from "DOT (department of transportation) seized the last shipment from Taiwan and crushed 150+ sets of lights cause they dont conform to DOT standards", to "that part has been canceled", to "Sonar is out of business..." and then lots of "we are out but should have some soon but we don't know when". We have a few leads we are currently working on but as you can see this will definitely take some additional time to source the housings. If for some reason we can't, we will issue refunds, and discuss other possible routes. Long story short, we are still working on it and have some leads, but if for some reason we simply can not source any more housings be assured we will issue full refunds... we don't intend to leave anyone hanging and simply waiting. Thank you (everyone) for your patience so far.

-Heath

Thanks for the update! Does that mean those of us in the lower numbers can expect to have our lights under the christmas tree?

So we don't start speculating, can you list out those that would be in the waiting pool?

Thanks!

Basically we have 21 sets + 2 that people sent in themselves. So #24 and up is in the waiting group. Again, we still have a few good leads and most likely we WILL be able to get the lights, however at this point we cant make any 100% guarantees and I wanted to inform everyone what the situation is.

If they are not done by christmas they should be completed and shipped soon after barring any huge complications... but we will do our very best to get them to Santa on time

Yeah I'll see if we can arrange a day to get together and do that... could be short notice though so keep your calenders open LOL My place isnt big... there is some street parking usually but depending on the number of people we may want to pick a different venue. Thoughts anyone?

I can take the lights out of my car and send them in if it helps. I will need to search around but I may have another set also but I'm not sure of it.

Do you have the clear lens headlight housings?

Things are looking up for the others that were possibly going to be left out. We found a source that should be able to fill the remaining orders We should start getting some finished lights out next week, I'm sure some of you are getting antsy!

You need to send in the the "Sonar" housings, not the OEM ones.

Silicone? You shouldnt be using any silicone lol. We just got a set of FC and FB headlight housings in... we are going to do some test fitting and experimenting to see if this is viable for the FC/FB. If you want you can start an interest thread, or just keep an eye out in the FDNewbie section if this actually pans out for the FC etc. though we'll discuss it in a different thread since this is for FD only. Stay tuned.

Just Curious if I'll still be getting my set with those Greddy HID's. I didn't know Greddy made HID's. I do want the Hi/Lo beam to be working also.
