very cool. sounds like you have a good start. just watch out there are many costs that will jump up and bite you in the ***.

I am currently undergoing the same build. fd rx7 2jz motor i bought the tech2 kit and decided to go with the GT42r turbo the aeromotive 1000 external pump aeromotive fuel pump controller aeromoticve FPR 1000cc rc injectors and fuel rail hks dli ignition box turbosmart e boost hks manifold and waste gate hks down pipe exedy hyper twin clutch custom front mount intercooler koyo radiator and spal fans. With my set up i need a custom hood as the motor sits higher. Also i saw that you were custom fitting and making components for your swap. How do you intend to work the speedo and tach? tech2 sells the interface boxes and magnetic pick up coils. and also custom a harness. I will be running the AEM stand alone. I dont have the money for a new DIFF and axles right now. Im a 21 yr old full time student. I had a new speed 3 with about 320 wheel with bolt ons but its totaled now! I'm waiting on a few parts to come in then we will be under way!

thank you. im in the process of trying to sell it... but if it doesnt sell im going to do a few more things and just keep it.
if it doesnt sell ill add a 6 point ally cage, repaint flat black (yes engine bay and jams), custom 15x10 rear wheels with DR, race buckets and retune untill turbo reaches its limit...

it is my dream build. but i enjoy building them more than driving them. there are a ton of pics ans a dyno video on youtube.
a friend of mone has a short video of it at the track but i have asked him for it 3 times now with no luck.

no, not many of these swaps around. they are very expensive... most people find that out half way through the build, then never finish.
i took mine out on a "drift night" late at night. boy was it fun, and im glad i didnt get a ticket. no i didnt drive crazy in residential areas.
