Let me know if you do make it to fort o, thats where I work. Primary objective of the 20b swap isn't for motor with the "most" hp its for the most hp I can get from a rotary. Like I said, I like the rotary, for me personally that is part of the appeal of the fd. Does that mean I am closed minded to other options? definatly not Does it mean I'm going to drop my current plans and do a lsx? definatly not. Does it mean I might pick up a roller and do an lsx? Strong possibility.

 

Im still waiting for a money race on the street with an untubbed v8 car. guess ill just continue to beat all the v8s around this area. One day ill race one of these insanley fast v8 rx7s on the street and take their money too. Until then, ill continue to laugh at these pathedic ls1 rx7 videos... even a honda motor makes more horsepower per cubic inch then an ls1, and so does a rotary, and a 2jz. a 350 is the biggest pos v8 motor out there. i guess thats y its so cheap.

Btw, lots of horseshit in this thread. Rotaries (including boosted high hp ones) are certainly not as unreliable as some of you have made them out to be. I've been driving my FD for ~5 years now at 420+ rwhp. You just have to have the motivation and knowledge to set them up properly.

P.S. I don't agree with the v8 swap, that's why I have rotaries in my rx-7s. But you guys who elect to perform the swap, it's your car, enjoy it as you see fit.

There are idiots who drive rotary FDs and idiots who drive v8 FDs, maybe the rest of us should leave this thread and let them go to town......

search button is your friend. both are great options, i just prefer to keep my rotary experiment seven rotary powered.

 

You ever need help with the engine or procharger setup let me know..im very familiar with procharger. And yes like you said, unlike 90% of the people arguing on this board, ive done ALL the research before making my desicion. And my decision was I wanted to make a stupid amount of hp in an amazing chassis and not have to worry about breaking down as much. Im not knocking the rotary engine im just saying based on word of mouth AND EXPERIENCE, ive not heard or had good luck with the motor.
