no.. i never got beat by a LSx.. i've never raced my rx7.. b/c the rotary engine is garbage.. thats the reason i wanna do a swap.. i can get a LSx motor to give
500+hp and still be a realiable daily driver if i wanted it to be.. but since u dont see many RX7's around, i've decided not to be my DD.. its just gonna be a nice little toy.. and to get laid?? since when did a car.. that a girl know's nothing about, or even what it is.. how is that gonna get me laid?? u have no knowledge of why i've chosen the rx7.. or why my interest is even in the rx7.. so please.. shut ur face and stop trying to pretend like u know me.. b/c u dont know me.. and u have no idea what the hell im gonna do.. but when i post pics.. i guess that'll shut every1 up wont it?? the anticipation awaits..

yeh.. i maybe some dumb kid.. but u know.. u wouldnt say a damn thing to my face in real life..
actually I would tell you the exact same thing to your face in real life as would several members on this forum. Don't get all e-thug on me, just as you said I don't know anything about you, you definatly don't have a clue about me so I'd watch the little attitude, but at least you do realize your some dumb kid.

And again we get nothing but excuses. so now the shop is closed but not to worry they will still do your car because again your such a "cute" loveable kinda guy. Still doesn't answer why you have no subframe when your car was supposed to be under the knife months ago, is it really taking hinson 6+ months to knock out a subframe? So thats all you need for the swap is a subframe, engine, and a tranny. Wow thats pretty good, those damn rotaries need all sorts of stuff like ecu's, intercoolers, radiators. no wonder your swaping. And what kind of first hand knowledge do you have on a rotary being "garbage"? Oh yeah you've heard a bunch of stuff right? Went googleing and all of a sudden you can speak from first hand knowledge?

The only reason you origionally decided to go lsx was because you called around to some shops told them "hey I wan't 500hp and you have to do all the work" then were surprised at what the costs were. Came on the boards and asked people where you could get a cheap 500hp upgrade from, managed to not listen or take any of their advice then came to this thread hoping to get some pats on the back for deciding to do the conversion but blew that when you wanted to argue with people that have much more experiance than you and acutally have/have done conversions themselves (read that as they got their hands dirty doing it, not having someone else do it for them). You managed to **** off all of the texas owners in your thread in the regional section. So you will essentially end up with a car you know nothing about, won't be welcome to the texas rx7 meetings, still look like you do, but it will all be good because you'll have your dream car to cruise with and take to shows. "wow look at those stock shocks, thats awesome".

I personally do hope you get your conversion done, I hope it makes your dick hard everytime you look at it, bottom line though is, you will still be an idiot to everyone on these forums and still know nothing bout your car be it a rotary or some ls variant.

One of the guys I built a car for knows nothing about it, kinda like this guy. But my guy actually accepts the fact that he knows nothing about it and is nice about it. He's probably showed up at my house once a month for the last year (since delivery) with a question or to get help upgrading something. Too bad TT boy won't have the luxury of someone like that due to his attitude.

Hey hey! I resemble that remark! And I'd like to think I know a **** ton more about the swap than this kid does. Granted I knew jack **** about it when we started, but I believe my edumuhkashun is coming along nicely now.

first of all.. when i say engine.. that means.. the wiring harness.. the ecu.. the cam.. the fuel system.. i just dont wanna type it all.. so i sum it up, and say.. "ENGINE", but u know, being the genius that u are.. "-1".. u cant put that together now can you...

and your little smart remark, look at my engine, on stock shocks.. who say's i wont be doing the suspension?? there u again, acting like u know me.. dont act like u know me, b/c u will never know me, and actually.. no.... you wouldnt say that to my face in real life.. i garuntee it u wouldnt.. end of case.

u see, thats problem w/ this forum.. i state something, dont flame any1, or do anything at that matter except state an opinion that answers the guys first post.. and then, u have a bunch of Mr. Knowitall's on this forum, who think they know every thing there is to know about an engine and the rotary, but really, they dont know diddly squat.. all they do is read a paragraph on a web page, and BAM!! they seem to know it all?? lol.. DUR DUR DUR DUR DUR DUR!! I LIKE PEANUT BUTTER!!! DUR DUR DUR!!

I've seen your picture and I would have no issues saying anything to your face. I don't care if your the world title holder in some bizzar underground death match fighting system I speak my mind and have no problem speaking it in person. I've had my *** kicked and handed out a few myself so one more either way isn't going to bother me one bit. Unlike you however I am not going to run around a forum telling people " if we were face to face you wouldn't say anything" like some e-thug wannabe suburbinte little kid.

And no one knows what you mean by "engine" as several have asked what kind of setup you planned on using or referenced what your plans were and you never did answer which only leads one to belive that you have no idea what your doing. What ecu are you going to be running? The stock whatever car your iron engine came out of? How well does it take tunning? Can you just pop a turbo on and not have to worry about anything else? How does it manage upgraded injectors, etc? I'd like to know, I've never looked into an lsx swap because its not my cup of tea and since you seem to know it all (much more in fact than people that already have an lsx conversion) I was curious to know what your plans were just like others that have asked yet you can't seem to come up with anything.

Also you are the last person that needs to be talking about anyone thinking they are a knowitall by reading some post. If I am not mistaken eat-prez posted hard cold facts on various things to you and all you came back with was how he was wrong because some other forum had a post that said different. So how does that make you any different than the so called know-it-alls you are bitching about?

The problem with this forum is little bitch *** kids like yourself who come jumping in with their ignorant posts, have no clue what they are talking about, talk down to those that do when they are just asking simple questions. That is the problem. Do you not wonder why essentially every thread you post in there is always someone there that calls out your bullshit or has something to say to you? I know it must be a conspieracy. We all got together and said "you know what, lets just call this guy out for no reason" or it could be the fact that your an idiot, you post some rediculous babble about something you have no clue about or you ask some question and then when someone gives you an answer you don't like you blow up and act the little punk kid you are.

And for the record I do happen to like peanut butter, doesn't everybody?

well.. u see.. my point is.. a guy who owns a ferrari, do u think he knows what he has, hell no.. he has the money, he buys it cause he knows its fast and can whoop any ones ***...

but yet, the little kit over in 7th grade, who reads the magazines knows everything about a ferrari, but will never own one.. my point exactly.

i bet u have received plenty of beat-downs.. and given rarely any.. and who cares about my set-up.. like u give a ratsass, all u have to know, is my setup is capable of pushing well over 600hp but wont be tuned but to 550-600.. b/c thats all i need to inflict punishment.. and yes.. the ecu will more than likely be stock.. b/c its not a rotary engine.. thats the luxury of having a V8.. if u want power, u dont have to change everything on the engine.. u can use 70% OEM parts to push out power.. ur trying to mix a shitty engine, w/ a great engine.. rotary being the garbage.. and the V8 being the great.

and i'd like to know what show u go to, that people get on the floor and look under ur car at the shocks??
did u really get first place for having good shocks.. amazing.

Going along with your point, the guy that knows nothing about a ferrari isn't going to go talk nonsense in every thread he can because he knows he dosen't know anything. You on the other hand think you do know everything yet havent' (read can't) back any of it up with hard facts, pictures of your build (since it was supposed to have started what like 4 -5 months ago). And I guarrentee if that 7 year old keeps on reading and makes something of himself (read turns out opposite of you) he will have that ferrari one day.

And really is that the best you can do is tell me that your sure I've had plenty of beat downs? Its funny how its always the little kid running his mouth about "say that to my face and you'll regret it" but I'm sure if you were even worth my time to drive down for I'd be greeted by your mother with a shotgun while you were cowering in a corner calling the police. Now should you ever happen to make it up through TN or GA there are plenty of legal venues where you can show me your stuff and hand me another beatdown.

And actually I'm not trying to mix any engine with any other engine. I have not said anything against one or the other, I have just stated that for someone who has not had any problems with their current engine you can't exactly talk about what garbage they are from first hand knowledge but only from one of those pathetic people who read a post or two and think they know it all, you know those people you claim are whats wrong with this forum.

And actually I am interested in what your setup is going to be. I may go out and buy a roller, hook up with eat-prez and get myself a nice lsx. I just find it amazing that apparently on a stock ecu you are able to swap out all sorts of stuff like injector size, add a turbo and the stock ecu I guess just recgonizes that its there and ups the fuel load at boost. Thats amazing that everything is "plug n play", microsoft must have had a hand in that. I've asked you what you were going to run, other people have asked you what you are planning to run, and we honestly do want to know what your going to run, but instead of just saying something like "well I don't know this guy that is building my car for me is taking care of all that" you want to make it out like I don't really want to know.

I've also said that I support you and hope you do get your conversion done and I'm sure more people would be willing to help you out, pat you on the back, and give you that love and affection you must have missed out on growing up, if you weren't such a complete moron and actually listened to people that have been there and done that rather than tear off on how wrong everyone is, not answer any questions relating to your build and promise us pictures of your build that so far is 5 months behind.

its a 5.3L iron block.. and most of the parts will be off an LS1.. u can use parts from the LS1 on the 5.3L.. LS1 tech has provided that factual information. It is possible to use LS1 parts on a 5.3L.. some people use 5.3L heads on the LS1.. for better compression.. and i said a 7th grader.. not a 7 yr old.. and the only reason i have beef w/ any1 on this forum, is for calling BS.. for one.. i dont lie.. there's no reason to sound tough on the internet..

the rotary engine is garbage, for many reasons.. no, i have not had any w/ mine.. but that doesnt mean its not to come.. thats the reason im doing a swap.. b/c i dont wanna put up w/ the crap i've been reading.. to much BS for a rotary engine.

to much power.. so little reliability

only certain people know how to work on them

for you to learn, takes time, time that i do not have 4 i am working all the time

they're tempormental

rebuilt every XX,XXX amount of miles

yes, they can go very far w/out a rebuild, but they're not daily driven

people who do last xxx,xxx amount of miles, have the $$ to do insane maint. on

im not saying i dont have the $$, why waste the $$ is all im saying

and another thing, people come on here, and ask a simple question as to.. why rotarys are so hard to take care, why they cost so much, why this, why that.. and the forum members tend to blow up on them, or come back w/ smartelic remarks. There is no need for that, simply state ur opinion and move on.. dont tell me u havent seen threads like that, b/c i know u have, and im sure ur one of the ones who posted the smartelic remarks.

and i've told u, time and time, i will get pics up and let u guys know how to swap is going.. my RX7 is just sitting in the driveway, waiting for the engine to be gutted and have a real engine put in it.. im waiting on hinson's slow ***.. and the only reason i've been waiting so long, this answers ur 4-5 month period, is at first, i couldnt make my mind up, i was gonna keep the rotary, and fix it up, but, no.. then, i went and had to do research on the LSx conversion and see how much it would cost, and the guys at the shop w/ the H2, said they would be done w/ it, but they encountered a problem w/ the tranny, they needed langanfilters help w/ something on the tranny, but they lang. wouldnt help them, so therefore it took them a little while longer than anticipated to get the tranny running w/ the motor.

and since ur a guru of RX7 swaps.. u should know, engine swaps take time, and i should have my swap done extremely fast, seeing as how, i have the $$ for it now saved up, since the delay, most of my parts needed for the swap, all i have to do is get my subframe, and the swap will be on its way.

and i've told u, time and time, i will get pics up and let u guys know how to swap is going.. my RX7 is just sitting in the driveway, waiting for the engine to be gutted and have a real engine put in it.. im waiting on hinson's slow ***.. and the only reason i've been waiting so long, this answers ur 4-5 month period, is at first, i couldnt make my mind up, i was gonna keep the rotary, and fix it up, but, no.. then, i went and had to do research on the LSx conversion and see how much it would cost, and the guys at the shop w/ the H2, said they would be done w/ it, but they encountered a problem w/ the tranny, they needed langanfilters help w/ something on the tranny, but they lang. wouldnt help them, so therefore it took them a little while longer than anticipated to get the tranny running w/ the motor.

and since ur a guru of RX7 swaps.. u should know, engine swaps take time, and i should have my swap done extremely fast, seeing as how, i have the $$ for it now saved up, since the delay, most of my parts needed for the swap, all i have to do is get my subframe, and the swap will be on its way.
I never claimed to be a guru of anything of course I can pat my head while rubbing my tummy at the same time, does that count?

People call you out on your BS because you post up how your car is going under the knife that week, over 4 months ago, yet never did. Then you post up that it hasn't done anything because your waiting on hinsons "slow ***" and you can't do anything without the subframe yet you should have already had that considering your car was to go into the shop already. Do we see a patern of BS yet? Now I can understand being excited and wanting to tell everyone but why make up stories? Why not just say "hey I'm doing the conversion but its going to take me some time to round everything up and for the guys that are doing it for me to be able to" instead of "rotarys are junk my cars going into the shop this week, lsx here i come".

Again you claimed that the problem with this forum is all the people that read a post or two and claim to know it all. Yet here you are with a rotary engine that you've had no problems with and because YOU read some posts you now think you know it all and rotarys are garbage. Little hypocritical there arn't we?

Now you also pointed out that the reliable rotary engines you've read about arn't daily driven so they don't count but you have said you won't be daily driving your car, its just a toy to pull out on the weekends. So in sense you should (according to what you've read) have a very reliable rotary engine yet its still garbage cause you heard/read that they arn't reliable.

People that want to learn make the time to learn. I work, I own and run a business, I probley put in 80+ hours a week, I also take 20 credit hours each semester persuing another degree, spend time with the wife, do stuff around the house, yet I seem to still be able to find time to learn about the car I love and work on it, so please don't use that worn out excuse as a reason why your to lazy to learn anything about your car be it the lsx or rotary.

This is why people are put off with you. You want to make statements about things you have no first had knowlegde of, want to talk about your car and its 500-600hp (which is 0 hp till you've actually done the swap and put up some numbers), don't answer any direct questions about specific things, put down the knowledgeable ones just because you don't like what they have to say or don't agree with their opinion, and then want to get all e-thug like thats going to solve it all. You could have at least had people believing you if you had posted some pics of the t56 you got for 400 bucks or the basically free 5.3L you were going to get or any of the other stuff you said you've been collecting over the past 5 months. There are alot of threads on peoples builds that are 2+years running as they update when they get a new part to stockpile till things come together, you however just claim to have stuff, claim deadlines that never were met, and claim how it is everyone elses fault but yourself.

Things to do before and during your swap:

1. Remove that hideous bumper.
2. Clean the engine bay like crazy.
3. Save your Emissions harness.
4. Remove your starter, intake manifold, and your alternator before you drop the engine in.
5. I would suggest you remove your fenders so they dont' get scratched.

That is just some of the stuff i did or wished i would have done.

He doesn't need to worry about any of that because hes not doing any of the work and surly his lsx specialty shop will know to do it all. And obviously you haven't been reading if he were to be doing his own swap he would have already known to do all that and is now going to be upset because by posting that you are making the assumption that he doesn't know what he is doing.

What, no more picking on turbotommy? I see you v8 guys cant even get along amonst yourselves. and and as far as reliability with the rotary, today on speed vision, the rolex racing gt 24hour race was on and the rx8 with a 3rotor ran the entire 24 hours and came in 1st place and another rx8 with a 3rotor came in 4th, not one mustang, gto, v8 **** even made the top ten.. not only that, but plenty of the v8s didnt even finish the race! so not only did the rotary out perform your **** motors, It OUTLASTED them too,... clowns!!! you cant say a damn thing about that.

snyper...i have a 13b with a single turbo. Ill put my 1 power adder against your 1 power adder any time your ready bud. and that goes for you too eat **** .... or eat pez, whatever your name is lol. I bet you have a mullet to go along with your junk yard motor too, dont ya? well guess what... my first gen is up and ready on the street along with turbotommy, and KBS's rx7. You can come here and choose which car you want to get beat by. and yes, all 3 cars are street driven. v8s are so much more reliable, how come our cars are running and yours are down. need a rebuild? or was the ls1 not enough to beat the rotary so u need an ls6 to try and keep up... Ill spool my turbo all day long... ill race you 10 times in a row, and ull be fillin up ur bottle n ****. lol how much is it to fill a bottle??

o ya btw: i pulled a 1.4 60ft also...... on a street radial

ever watch a show called "Bullrun", a 24 hr race?? bullrun was a state to state race and the LS1 Trans Am won that one. But, a race doesnt prove anything, its what happens on the road, and the way u drive it. if something breaks on the side of the road, u can fix a V8 by yourself w/ simplistic tools.. w/ the rotary, u have to have it towed home.

Do us all a favor and leave the forum for ever, all you are doing is taking up bandwidth that someone other than you has to pay for.
