First DYNO pull!!!
Hey all,
Today i did my first dyno pull ever in my 88 vert. I have a few simple bolt ons and a few deletes. And i was wondering if anyone could tell me if the numbers sound pretty good.. I have a full MAZDASPEED catback exhaust system, a K&N intake, and a MAZDASPEED short throw shifter(i know the shifter doesnt play a part in a dyno but i figured i would say it) the Deletes include A/C deletes, Power steering deletes, Clutch fan delete.
The car put down 139.1 WHP and 123.5 WTRQ. Is that a good number for what i have and for what is done to the car?

i did ~146 or so with an RB header, single (catless) pipe and RB muffler. 6ports were not working and had stock intake tube with K&N filter attachment. Id say you did what is to be expected. Gasket match the intake manifold and go full exhaust and see what you get

What do you mean gasket match? Im not real familiar with rotarys lol.. But any ideas on any additional mods that i could do to make a little more power that wont hold a huge price tag

custom cold air intake for more ambient air, headers with full exhuast, air pump for acuators after exhuast for proper activated ports. other than that drivability is all your goin to get with bolts ons. well unless u swap your uim and lim with s5 manifolds. 10-12 bhp there

yes i mean those, u will need the s5 injector rail as well and a dynamic chamber for the s5 and you can buy them on the forum or ebay or most anywhere else. i paid 100 for all required for the install. on rotary resurrection i think they have a link to how to change it and everything required. found it here it is http://homepage.mac.com/carldavis/intake.html
