0-60

My friend and i were bored so we decided to see how quick my 0-60 time would be because he has a stop watch on his phone. We did two runs, one with ngk spark plugs that were bad and the second run with new ngk platinum plugs. The first run was with the bad plugs and the car went 8.4. The second time i did 6.6. I think i could get it better by myself and if i would shift out of second before i hit the rev limiter. I have an 87 n/a. Has anyone else done there 0-60 just for the hell of it.

you could count it out loud while music is playing so that the beat throws you off.

haha, i'm not flamin ya, man. geez, its a joke. i mean, say it to yourself and listen to the idea. you in the car with a person trying to time your 0-60 with a stopwatch. use your imagination and get a good visual in your mind. its actually kind of funny. so get over it.

Stopwatch on a cell phone = one of the most inaccurate ways to measure 0-60.

You know you guys are right, i went and bought a g tech proRR today and it was a difference. It was in my favor, my true 0-60 time is 5.8, and in the 1/9 i did a 9.37. My 60 ft. was 2.1. My net hp was 153.3 and torque was 122.7.

i pulled a 6.4 0 to 60 out of my s5 n/a with intake, bonez cat replacment pipe, custom 2.5 catback and msd ignition. but i had a bad stock clutch and badly worn throw out bearing. that car was wanting more mods but pd failed before i could do much else so until i have it running again thats my best.

I am not suprised that a 0-60 times are high. I car seems to feel like a rocket from 60-120mph. I have to get one of those g-tech things. They probably are not as acurate as the guys at road and track but still worth using to get a baseline idea

You said you were n/a gxl?...What mods you running to get your 0-60 to 5.8. A stock n/a s5 runs like 6.2. There better be some porting in your mods list.
