If its a Mustang Dyno then it typically can read about 10% lower than a Dynojet. Most dynos have a weather station that will compensate for Temperature so it doesn't play that much of a factor in the numbers.
Did they give you a graph that shows HP/TQ and airfuel? That will show whats going on.

Anything done to the tranny? Are you using the Banzai harness to piggyback the stock ECU for transmission control?

Hey bigella,

any more images of your dyno graph print out, showing ramp rate and other details usually printed on the bottom.

463 max HP at about 7k rpms, 21.5 peak boost, and 381 max torque around 6k but it looks like about the same torque from 5500-6500 rpms. Dynojet. Dyno sheet attached, YouTube link below. 11.5 afr until it dropped down to 11.0 afr after peak HP at 7k rpms. Pre turbo AEM water injection 315cc new recirculating pump, 93 pump gas, knock stays very low with wi and it was 1 on the PFC from 6k up during the dyno pull, fairly conservative leading timing 6 degrees adv. at 6k rpm and 12 split. I tuned it a little better for the 2nd run to get the AFR up from 11 to 11.5 at around 7k rpms and you can see the power difference there, but still too rich after 7200 rpms and the power dropped off.

Mods - T04R turbo, .96 AR, my custom cold air intake, my tune, 850/1680 injectors max 88% idc (that will come down cause it was too rich up top), supra fuel pump rewired with a relay in the hatch 13.8 volts all the time, got it idleing around 12.4-12.7 afr, 40 psi base. Power FC with datalogit, PLX R-500 WB. Greddy FMIC. Greddy catback, resonated MP. 1 Crane HI-6DSR Ignition, MSD 8224 leading coil, 2 NGK R7420-10 leading spark plugs and 2 BR10EIX trailing plugs with stock trailing coil. fraits.

3 rotor dyno session

Thought I'd post up my numbers from a Tuesday dyno session here in Asheville NC. Steven Osley retuned the car for the mountains as I just came up from FL. Made 583 WHP and 435 ft. lbs. of torque at 12 PSI and 675 and 531 ft. lbs. at 18 PSI.

https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...1&d=1326383318

https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...1&d=1326383270

EDIT: Don't know why the dyno charts won't show? Mods, any help with this?

And a link to one of the dyno runs:

http://youtu.be/aUXK0iTteCk

The car has more HP in it at both levels as we never reached a drop off in the HP curves. The tuner, Steven Osley, believes we can hit 600 at 12 PSI and easily pass 700 at 18 PSI. I'm happy with where we are at though

Thanks Howard. I am happy with the results. I should mention this is with methanol injection to keep things nice and safe.

Hmm

here is OZ we use Sugar cane juice dude... made by a company called Sucrogen. Its the only E85 that I'm aware of that has anti corrosion inhibitors already mixed in.

so i was at a dyno day yesterday. i pulled 261hp/247tq on a dynojet dyno. dont know how accurate but i was pleased.

here are my mods-
stock rebuilt engine, stock turbos minus air pump, ac, ps
3 in dp, 3in hi flow cat, 3in greddy ti exhaust
xs power smic-no ducting yet :/
apexi twin intakes
apexi bov
lightweight flywheel and act clutch
supra tt pump

could i make more with these mods? or am i just about right?

i am lacking ducting for my smic as well as the bottom under tray; as far as that goes, did i lose power not having those two important things? i plan on ducting, making a tray for the under tray spot, getting a godspeed/mishimoto rad, getting s5 t-stat then eventually getting power fc and possibly injectors after the first tune. i have the opportunity to get a midpipe for really cheap, but was advised not to if i already have a hi flow cat. will all this be enough to get over 300rwhp? what would the max look like that i can achieve? also, how accurate is the dynojet dyno?

oh and i almost forgot- once the shop emails me the graph of my runs, i will post. maybe you pros will be able to tell me what i can do to better my car

thanks all,

marlon from atl

Here is my graph. its 3 pulls. it was on a dyno day at Batlground Motorsports on their dyno day and open house on 7/21/12. since it was just a dyno day, just numbers were shown- no iat or afr is shown :/

with my mods and lack of(no ducting) could i stand to make more power? with a power fc could i look to make more power?

thanks again all,

Edit........OOPs just saw you don't have a PFC or a tune

Obviously keep the boost down below 10 psi and be careful with how you drive the car with those mods until you have it tuned
