The rears are not a problem.
Lucky you...you're post #20,000 for me.

Alright, i tried digging through this thread and i'm looking to go as big as i can in the rear.
I want to run a 17x10 with a 275/40/17 tire in the rear. I dont care if i have to roll the hell out of the fenders but i just want to go as big as i can back there. (Planning ahead for making the switch to a GT42)
I dont want to run a terribly staggered setup so i want to know how big i can go in the front when dealing with the offsets offered for the 5zigen FN01R-C's http://www.5zigenusa.com/main.html
Again, i dont care about rolling my fenders front and rear, just whatever i can get to fit without overfenders.

Man those look like they stick out just a bit too far for my liking, i may have to go with an 9" wheel with a 265 on it, i doubt i can get a 275 on a 9" wheel properly.

I'm pretty sure that on the Mustang SVT Cobra's (probably other models as well) the stock wheel is a 17x9 and the stock tire is a 275/40/17. Hell, people have put 275's on 8" wheels (NOT RECOMENDED!!!).

Versus the 10.0", +12, the +25 gives you another half and inch inwards.
The pic looks like it's sticking out 1/2"!
Remember, the inner fender lip stick inward horizontal, and you gotta bang the hell out of it to roll it - it's double wall!
I still think 275's are too tight in the rears.
You basically need a dead-on offset and get a tire with a very narrow profile to get it to fit without rolling anything.
I mean I can't give you a wheel spec just to get those things to fit right.

yeah the 275 on the 9in wheel is a bit extreme..i had to install longer studs to fit a big enough spacer to push the wheels outward because the tire rubbed the lower arm. and it practically sits out just as much as the 17x10s...IIRC, there was a guy that had the +25's on his FC with 275s and just had to roll the fenders alittle but heres a pic of mine with 9s and 275 tire..i needed a Drag radial and wasnt going to put 225s on the rear..i did what it took..

Hey guys, I was trying to find out if this setup would work.
Front: 18x8.5 225/35/18
Back: 18x9.5 265/30/18
with Tokico Illumina Coilovers and rolled fenders.
I'm not really sure what offsets to use, could you help me out?
Thanks!

Hrmmm, i may try the 17x10 +25 offset with the 275, if i have to roll, i have to roll. Now for the front, possibility of a 245, I'm getting close on both ends of the car??? Local guy got some taller 245 race tires on the front and it looked like it cleared, some fender rolling

Okay, this is what i've been told would work idealy for biggest all around under stock fenders
17x8 +27mm through +30mm offset with a 245 in the front
17x9 or 17x10 with around a +25mm offset depending on wheel rapped in 275/40
I'm just having issues trying to justify cramming all that 275 on a 9" wheel.

If you can get what offset options are available, then it'll be a lot easier and keep the discussion shorter.
Unless you guys are ordering $1,000+ per wheel Panasports???

i bought some rims and wanted to make sure they fit.
F 18x8 +30 w/225-40-18
R 18x9 +35 w/255-40-18
lug pattern on the rims is 9x114.3
i have a base model 87 base (4 lug) and i will later do a turboII 5 lug upgrade soon.
will i have any problems with fitment?

Alright i'm gonna order the wheels today, i'm going to go with 17x10 +25 for the rear, if small spacers are needed, so be it. The front is my big one now.
I want to do a 245/40 in the front with fender rolling.
The front may need a 5mm spacer if i go with the 17x8 +35 but it should put me right where i need to be. Either i go with that or a +25 but i'll be hard pressed to get anything other than a 225 up there. Just any final thoughts from anyone before i buy.
