It should not pass tech, since I think 1/4" is max spacer you can run in SCCA.

with my 1/4"/5mm spacers that i run, i am only able to use half of the threads on the studs. so i would assume that 1/2 inch spacers would render the stock studs useless. slip on spacers most definately compromise strength.

just to update.
i ended up picking up the RP-01's. i traded my FD wheels with worn rubber and 8mm spacers plus 130cnd cash for just the RP-01's w/o rubber. They're 17x7.5 +32mm all around mint condition but are white (eww) lol. I guess i'll change that later. I got some free rubber from my uncle. Pirrelli P6000's w/ about 80% tread left. Since they were free i couldnt choose what size, these were 255/40/17 lol i was a little worried. I test fitted 1 on a rim, went on smoothly. I cant really do a proper test fit on the car though because there is no weight (missing engine, trans, driveshaft and diff) but i did it just for fun anyways. seems like there is enough room, clear L2L good. so im expecting it to fit The reason i traded was because i really didnt want to use spacers lol and right when i decided to not use spacers, these wheels went up for sale. I'll post pics if anyone wants to see :P

Front: 18x8.5 225/35/18
Back: 18x9.5 265/30/18
Rolled Fenders
Tokico Illumina Coilovers
Will this work? What offset should I use to get the wheels as flush as possible to the fenders? Or more importantly, what will fit?
Thanks

It'll clear the insides up front, but depending on the tire widths it's most likely will hit the fender lip.

ok i have some rims that i got for christmas from my older brother. there 16 x 8 all around. the front rims have a +46 offset and the rear rims dont say. i was thinking about stretchin a 205 on the front rims and putting say 225's in the rear. i test fitted the rims and the front rims hit part of the caliper. the rear rims clear everything.
what size spacers would i have to use to make them flush on my TII?

ok ive got somethin to add to the mix.....
im lookin at sportmax 962's in
18 X 8.5 35mm offset up front with 225/40/18
18 X 9.5 35mm offset out back with 265-275/35/18
ive been lookin around and im still not sure if these will fit...if i will need spacers...i think these things will look sick if they fit

I would try run something a little more than 1/4" up front though...
I'd like at least a 10mm spacer up front...

I would try and stick with the 265, unless you're willing to roll fenders?
