The rears may need a 5mm spacer if the tire makes contact with the trailing arm. You can run a 255/40/17 in the front and 275/40/17 in the rear - might have to trim your exhaust heat shields since the tire may rub on them under hard cornering. You may have to secure the exhaust muffler tighter than usual to keep it from swaying into the tire as well.

Looking to run Enkei RPF1s on my FC.
I found a new set for $1,000 plus shipping. 17x9 +45 in the front and 18x10 +38 in the rear.
I'm going to be on Stance GR+ coilovers and will get Cusco camber plates for the rear. Looking at running Nitto NT-05Rs in the back and NT-05s in the front. Do you think this is do-able with a fender roll and some camber? What tire sizes are recommended (looking for grip, not necessarily stretch).

The rears may also need to be shimmed out, I'm not sure about the size of the Stance coilovers and what kind of clearance you will have, but on stock suspension my 17 x 10 +18's fit with not much room to play, and only needed minor fender rolling in the rear with 275/40/17's. If you have the choice, I would opt for the +18 rears, otherwise just get a set of ~20mm spacers for all 4 wheels.
Edit: You should get ahold of Rishi at Auto RnD (forum name ARD_T2) he gave me a good hookup on my white RPF1's, that way you can get the offset you want.

Sorry if this has been covered but there are soo many pages. I read through about 50 pages hoping to see the size and offset i might make a purchase on.
Im looking at,
17x8 +35 front
17x9 +42 back
Will this be a good fit?
If they will fit what tire sizes should i run.
I have stock suspension as of now but when i put these on i will have tokico hp blue's with tanabe gf210s.

Hey guys, Im just starting to learn how much goes into wheels and tires lol. My question. I want to run 17x9 in the front with 245/40/17. with 30mm wide fenders what offset would i need to make this work? I have tein superdrift coilovers also. In the rear i want to run 265/40/17. what width and offset would i need for that?

I've been looking for some cheap mesh wheels in a decent offset recently without much luck, but I came across some FC's rocking Crown Vic wheels in the FC pic thread. Intrigued, I scoured ebay and found these for dirt cheap.
About to pull the trigger, but this is the first set of wheels I'm buying for the car, and I just want to make sure there will be absolutely no fitment issues. Also, what would be a good tire size? I was thinking something like 205/50/16. Does that sound about right? Or should I go for a larger sidewall?

so the 17x9 24mm offset does fit up front? and what should i get for the 10.5's in the back should i get the 20mm or 27mm? I have extended lug studs and can get spacers if i need them. Also i have mazdatrix angle kit and pbm modded knuckles up front you think a 9 inch wheel up front will clear the sway bar and everything at full lock? Could i just hammer in the wheel well a little bit? also i am stretching the tires on them to save some room and for drifting it is an all out drift car just ready to finally have some wide wheels just dont know how wide is too wide

18x10 +20 w 245/40's out back no roll, nor pull.
i was scared to go lower the first day, but yesterday i did a bit of road testing and the wheels can tuck fine without scraping. the front.... well, that isnt going to work out with the setup i have.
but i am trying to test the limits of stock metal with little to no fender work.

Just for reference, this is a picture when I was still on stock fenders with 17 x 9 +22 RPF-1's in front, riding on 245/45/17. My front wheels have 92.3mm overhang.

What offset are your 17 x 10's, and you are talking fronts right? Because my 17 x 9 + 22 fronts with 245's and no spacer fit nicely inside a corksport fender, although I'm not after a stretched, high camber, barely clearing the fender look...

looking for help from the hellaflush/streched tyres/ rail scraping rx7 community. im thinking of finally getting a new set of wheels for my fc. specs are as follows
front- i have a few options which are 18x9.5 +12, +15 or +22
rear- 18x10.5 +0, +12, +15 or +22 again.
for the front i have shine autos fenders which i think are 25mm to 30mm (going off looks as ive never actually measured them). For the rears i will be getting 30mm msports overfenders. car will be sitting on bc racing coilovers.
im thinking of going 18x9.5 +15 in the front and 18x10.5 +0 in the back.
would this be possible to squeeze under the front and rear guards with those offsets without rubbing on the struts- especially in the front. would full lock steering be effected at all? i want to go as aggressive as possible, just need some advice to make it happen!

hows it going guys?!?! i just bought 4 enkei RPF-1's 17x9.5+38 probably guna wear 235/40/17 for the front and 255/40/17 for the rear (unless you guys have a better suggestion on tire size). just wanted to see what you guys think for what wheel spacers to get to clear the suspension for front n rear. then of course ima need to do a slight roll/pull over stock fenders... let me know what ya think, thanks
