The Official FC Wheel Fitment Thread
you can get converstion spacers as thin as 15mm, but they'll cost more (doesnt Project Kics make these?)
15mm should be fine for those wheels, unless you're trying to fit max rubber.
but you're probably better off just selling those and buying wheels that fit.

the thing is i traded him my laptop for the 4 brand new rims and 4 tires, i probebly will not get any money back for these so i will loose twice and i like the rims.

Depends on how much camber you'll be running - if you're maxing it out, you will probably not need it as long as you roll (maybe pull) the fender.
If you decide to run a wider tire in the future, you'll need over-fenders.

Pulling fc fenders is hard to do right and have look good. I've seen maybe a handful on this site that looked great. Um, a way to cheat for more clearance is to hibino that ****. Meaning you cut the fender where the molding is and bring it away from the chassis for more clearance. Google it. It can be done and made to look clean with a little bit of sheet metal and a welder. Much cheaper than glass overs if you are budget minded.
Also, you can gain a cm or two of clearance simply by bowing the fender out. If you dont understand, take all the bolts out of your fender, leave the rear most bolt that's on the bottom-rear part of the fender and pull outward with your hand. See how much room you can gain?! Cool ****, huh?
I'm not advising anyone to do this if you have money for overs and want to run overs.

the 235/35 is a little bit taller on the sidewall and would match the 285/30 better. Only thing is its pretty tight as it is with the 225 so im not sure if i have the clearance for the extra width of that tire. i might have to space out the wheel a little bit.

Considering you guys are the wheel fitment guru's i would like to ask a question as I am purchasing some new wheels and found a price on some
17x9 +24 offset in the front
17x10.5 +27 in the rear
will these fit on my TII?

Fronts will fit as long as you're running coilovers. With that said, all coilovers have some variance, but teins and stance's are known to work with 17x9 +24. Make sure the wheel bearings are nice and tight, otherwise the wheel will deflect into the springs since you will have maybe 2-4 mm of clearance.
Rears shouldn't be a problem. You'll have to roll the fenders lips up on all corners to prevent rubbing. Your camber settings will also affect fitment.

With coilovers up front that would fit and should provide a flush look barnett87rx7.
The lower offset will limit you to stretching 235 front, 255 (too much stretch in my opinion) rear with just rolling the fender lip under on front.
235 front 275 rear with rolling the fender lips under front and rear (maybe slight roll on rear)
Or 255 front , 275 rear with about -2 deg negative camber up front and a slight roll to the front and rear fenders.
Anyways, this fitment would look really good in my opinion and work well from handling/performance perspective.

Anyone know if is possible to fit a 18x8.5" wheel on the front? Ofcourse, fenders will be rolled and I have Tein Flex shocks. I want to know first before I make the final jump. What offset would people recomment for say, 18X8.5" on front with 235's and 18x9.5" on the back with 275's.
Okay let me post my question in this matter;
'88 T2 stock style springs (no coilovers), stock factory front and rear fenders with rolled lips. I want to run;
235/40 or 245/40 tire on a 17 x 8.5" front rim
265/40 or 275/40 tire on a 17 x 9.5" rear rim
If this is possible, what offsets do I need?

I am looking into the 5Zigen rims: Pro Racer GN+
Any idea if these sizes will fit? Please let me know
All around:
Tires: 215/45/17
Rim: 17x8.5 with 30 Offset
I would like to avoid pulling and rolling the fenders if need be. Please let me know if they fit. Trying to make a decision by this Tuesday. Thanks Rx7Club
