What is the biggest rim width and size that you can fit in an Fc without doing any fender modification. I plan on pulling and rolling my fenders though lol

That Q has been answered a million times in the past 160 pages.

The answer is 32x14 -23 1/2 offset. Any bigger than that and you will need a good roll and pull.

Hey, I am new so please don't crucify me if this question has been asked before because it probably has. Will 17x8 on all corners fit. I'm fairly new to understanding what offset actually mean but I am guessing that it shows where the center of the hub of the wheel moves in or out. Am I correct? I have seen a lot of people doing a 43mm offset or a 48mm. I haven't seen too much of the 35mm. What offset should I go with if those all work?

We need to know the width of the wheel and (if you can) the tire size also. Offset alone isn't really enough info.

BTW does anyone have a online wheel calculator that will show how concave a wheel is? I have one that shows how much of a lip I would get but not concave..or should I just picture it without the lip and that's my answer?

Actually please ignore my last post. Sorry. I found something that Rtek posted concerning Rims size and Tire size. They are these websites: http://fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/RT/rims.htm AND http://fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/RT/tires.htm Once again credit for those goes to Rtek. Well I was planning on getting FN01R-C Hot Version rims. Will these specifications fit?

8 inch wide rear, 30 offset, 225/45/17
8 inch wide front, 30 offset, 225/45/17

Please let me know if I will need to do any fender modifications or if they will be rubbing anywhere such as ( Suspension ). I want to do Stance Coilover's in the future as well. Hopefully that won't cause any major problems. Well Thanks for your help Rx7 Club

I went through this whole thread like 4 times to decide what wheel size I wanted. I don't know why nobody else seems to have the patients.

Anyways.. The rears will fit just fine but the fronts should be a +35 offset or they will hit your fenders. I have the same rims but different sizes. I have 17x8 +35 on the front and I am really close to needing a fender roll, but I am running a 235/40/17 tire.

I just realized when looking at the 5Zigen website that the rims that I need 17x8 with 5H-114.3 with Hole/PCD only come in 25,35, and 43. Knowing this should I go with a 25mm, 35mm, or 43mm offset for the rear considering that they are not availible in 30mm offset. Am I missing something? Oh and I the 5Zigen site (
http://www.5zigenusa.com/english/pro...fn01rchot.html ) it says that 35mm Offset will work for the front?

Thank you for your help and concern in advance. Thanks!

Yeah 17x8 +35 looks and fits perfect on the front. Are you against going with staggered fitment? because a 9 in. rear looks really good imo.

Lol they probably would look really good, it's just I wanted to be able to do tire rotations if I needed to. Do you think I should? I've been thinking a lot about it lately.

is it due to coilover clearance or fender clearance?

inside clearance, and its not even close. you'd need a 10mm spacer minimum, preferably 15-20mm bolt on.

I think that the staggered looks the best but it is your car so do what you want. If you want to save some money, check out JLBMOTORSPORTS.COM. That is where I got my wheels and lug nuts, accept I actually went to their store in Corona, Ca. I got all 4 hot versions for less than $800.

oh so your saying it would be too close to the inner fender/frame rail....welll i got them for free. i was thinking of 18x8.5 +28 for the rear. my thing is trying to make these work cause they dont look half bad and buying two rims is cheaper than buying 4...any thoughts. how much would spacers run me?

15-20mm bolt on spacers run about 60+ a pair, iirc.

I think I am going to stay the same on all 4 corners so I can rotate. Soo..

Will these measurements work now this is what I am going to get:

8 inch wide rear, 35 offset, 225/45/17
8 inch wide front, 35 offset, 225/45/17

I will be installing coil overs in the future if that affects anything. I just want to be sure... not annoying. Sorry if I am. Thanks though!

That will work just fine with no clearance issues. If you want to get a more flush fitment go with the +25 offset in the rear, but I can not say for sure if that will rub the fender or not.
