I'm looking at getting Fn01r-c.

Stock FC Turbo wheels are 16x7 with a 40mm offset.
My car is lowered (IDK how much, but it's on the stock wheels).
Will 17x7 42mm offset fit? How much wider / more offset can I go? Thanks!

FNO1RC on an FC?
most guys run a 17x8 +25 or +35 front and a 17x9 +25 or +35 rear with a 235 front and 255 rear tire.
stock suspension or coilovers? the +35 cleared my tein flex by a hair up front. I think with non-coilovers you have more room inboard and might be able to fit a +40 but that would be very sunken in and look kinda goofy as well as not widening the track as far as possible/beneficial.

How about a 16x8 et +25 wheel all around with 225/50/16 tires? Car is lowered with RB springs (1 inch).

I don't know what they are, but it's like 1 1/2 - 2 inches lower than my GTU. I don't like the concave look so I'd prefer them not to be that wide.

Why the different sizes front and rear? Arn't the stock wheels the same all around?

that would be a good fitment and nice tire choice, can you get a lower profile?

yes stock is same all around, but if you make any good power you will want a little more tire out back for controlled throttle exit, etc. but if you are just driving around an all stock motor'd car then sure, run 17x8 or x9 all around... if I was driving an all stock N/A then I'd surely have 16" or 15" super lightweight wheels to make the most of the cars power.

It's all stock, but it's a turbo. I have the stock wheels on it, so any rim that is close to the dimensions of the stock wheels should probably fit, right? The 5zigen comes lowest in 17, so I can reduce tire aspect ratio to make up for the larger rim than the stock 16s. Running 1 inch wider in the back isn't going to hurt too much if the stock wheels seem to be doing fine, right? I'm worried about compression on the suspension making my wheels rub on the inside of my wheelwell causing a blowout.

Would 16x8s with a 225/50/16 with a +4mm (four, not forty) rub the fenders up front?

16x8 +4 on an FC would be WAY outboard, like rollerskate style.

FRFC3S, you should run the tried and true FNO1RC fitment, then base your tire choice on your driving style, needs and road conditions.... whether you should run a 235/40R17 or a 235/45R17 up front, it makes a difference in some instances.

the worry of a blowout is not needed, if you are close to the fenderlips then you can roll them upwards, but since you are not trying to be hella flush or hella wide, you can pick the right offset to clear everything and the right tire to clear as well. there isnt anything inboard or suspension wise that is something you should worry about unless you run lame *** offsets like +40 instead of the +35/+25 other people run time and time again with good results.

16x7 +4 was what I meant to type. I dig the fat lip look, but I dont want them rubbing or sticking out of the fenders.

Yeah I have no need for a concave look or super wide rear tires as it will only see mild track time.

17x7 in front, 17x8 in the back? What was the offset again? +35 or +25?

If I turn the wheel all the way to one bank, it is 1/2 an inch from the inside of the wheelwell plastic stuff.

I have no idea on how to roll fenders so I'm trying to get rims that keep me from having to do that. Is there a writeup anywhere on how to do that if I need to?

Too tight up front for stock type suspension.
Will work with hippari stretch tire widths.
Will work with coilovers with added clearances.

Wil be tight in back to the fender lip - be prepared to roll that rear fender lip with 255 wide tires.
Might be able to clear stock rear fender lip with hippari stretch tire widths.

If you look at Josh18_2k's post a few pages back who's running a 255/40 tire on a 17x9+24 with tein flex's then I'd imagine a 17x9+25 with a 225/45 or 235/40 tire would work with minimal working of the the front fender. The 235/40 would be a better choice as it's a min. recommended tire width for a 9" rim usually.Again it all depends on what you are running for suspension, how low the ride height is,how bent the car is ,how much camber you are running etc.

Will a 225 60 15 fit on a stock FC wheel? In the front is what i'm worried about, will it hit suspension? G-Force Sports, so i need a 10.16mm amount more space over the stock tire.

Does anyone have pictures of this footwork on an 87 turbo II?
Front - GAB Sport, 16" x 7.0", +32, silver, "hi disc"
Rear - GAB Sport, 16" x 7.0", +32, silver, "lo disc"

I just really think they'll look great, and would like to see them on a blue 87 TII

"5h" = 5-hole bolt pattern
No guarantee it'll fit unless it's a 5 x 114.3mm or 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern.
Since it's a Mazdaspeed wheel, it's more likely made to fit the Mazda hubs.
