I went with your advice on here...+15 spacers all the way around. 17x8.5 fronts, and 17x9.5 rears. Both +42. Turned out awesome!! Thanks guys!!

Ok i looked through the entire thread and couldn't find anyone with the size/offset im looking at(unless i missed it. lots of pages)

They are Rota P45R wheels. I want to use a 17x9 all the way around. Now rota offers the following offsets for that size : 17x9+30 & 17x+25. What will fit and what tire size should i go with. Thanks in advance.

I put a 22 offset 18x9 on thr rear of my FC - knowing it wasn't enugh ideally. Rubber was 245/35, which sat almost flush with the guard - was about 3mm over. A 30 offset would have suited much better, so you sound like you're bang on the money for the rears. Can't help with the fronts though - no idea what offset they are

Okay so this weekend i took some time and measured and I think that a:

15x8 with 5.5 backspace (+25mm offset) and a 215/60R15 would be good on the front.
15x10 with 6.25 backspace (+19mm offset) and a 265/50R15 would be good on the rear.

I'm going to use custom offset Chrome Daytona's from AWC

Will these fit?

Front wheels lists:

17X8 5-114.3 22mm offset

Rear wheel lists:

17X9 5-114.3 27mm offset

These are just the specs I pulled off of discount tire.

I would appreciate any help. I can work on engines all day but for some reason I can never rap my head around sizes and offsets for wheel fitments. Thanks in advance and any tire size recomendatios would be welcome. Or hardware like spacers..

Thanks in advance guys.

They should fit with a fender roll on the front and rear fenders. What tire size are you going to run?

If you have coilovers 17X9 +25 with a fender roll in front and 235/40/17 to 255/40 17 will fit all around. The tires just depend on your power level, and how wide you want to go. You could also stagger the tires if you wish.

I believe you can order custom offset racing whels from Bassett Wheels. I know you can get custom offset from US Wheels on lots of there steel wheels. Weld and centerline sell lots of high offset wheels.

FD wheels. 245/45/16 tires, 25mm spacers all round. Zero rubbing. Okay maybe a TINY bit on the front right fender, but no rubbing on the frame, springs, arms, struts

Kodiak, but they're a bit expensive. I believe you know about my experience with Rota. My 15x8 Rota Slipstreams will be the legs of a coffe table soon enough because they have no business being on any car with the critical design flaw that they've got.

look at the albums in my profile, i test fit some 17x9 +25 P45R's on my FC....they fit fine, but the tires were the wrong size (they are for a mustang's daily use)

i have 17x9 +25 BBS wheels all around 235/40 front tire, 255/40 rear tire....perfect fitment. i still need to lower my car again after putting 100 miles on them. (wanted to let everything settle)

'88 what size spacers would get 17x7 +38 (front) 17x9 +35 (rear) almost flush with the stock fenders?

Nope, and if you have slight rubbing, just a slight roll of the lips will suffice.
