In all my experiences for standard backspacing with coilovers on FC your MAX offsets for safety should be around:

Keep in mind i'm basing this on a GRIP FITMENT, not stretched with camber.

Front:

9 +20
10 +8

that being said i honestly thing you'll need a 15mm spacer at minimum to clear your coilovers. With 20mm front fenders I can run a 9 +15 and 255 just barely clearing with prob 2.5 deg camber.

I'd say 10" +5 would be IDEAL for your 30mm front fender, ergo get a 20mm spacer and net a 10" +2 front with 30mm fenders.

With 50mm rear I'm currently able to run approx:
18x10 -10 to -15, that would equate to an 11 +0 practically.

That being said i believe your 11" will stick out approx 1" with 35mm rear fenders. That's pretty significant. I'd suggest getting 50mm and you'll be good.

16x8.5 +34 Fit?

Hi: Been searching the many messages on this thread. Will 16x8.5" +34's fit on an FC with Tokico Illumina struts/shocks and Eibach lowering springs? If so, what tire sizes would work?

Thanks a lot,

Vince

Hmm, thanks for the tips.

I think I'd rather try to find another set of wheels, or mod these to fit like getting the barrels cut down. My rear fender is bonded to my car, I will never get it off.

Edit : Found another cool set

18x9 -19
18x11 - 1

Just not worth the trouble, but new wheels.

16x8.5 +34 will work, i know the 225/50 will work, but maybe you can fit a 245/45/16 up front. Rear for sure will work.

OK so RX8 wheel:

#1: Tire is too tall for FC. even for FD.

You need to change to a 225/40/18 ideally.

#2: RX8 wheel = 18x8.0 +50

Ideal offset for FC

Front:
8" +30

Rear
8" +15 to +25

Therefore you would want:

20mm studded spacer for front
25 to 30mm studded spacer for rear, 25MM ARE THE ONLY ONES EASY TO SOURCE

To make it look right.

Now consider the costs of these spacers at approx:

I can get you the appropriate Studded spacers AND THE AUTORND CONVERSION HUBRING TO MAKE THIS HUBCENTRIC TO FC.

20mm + 25mm studded spacers and conversion rings: $250.00 + $25.00

Total: $275.00 shipped to make this work how it should on the FC. Ideal fitment, performance, and looks. YOU'LL GET ALL YOUR WHEEL TRACK BACK. .

Hopefully you got the wheels with tires for under $600.00 + 275.00 to make it work.

Net expensive is near $900.00, and you still need to buy proper tire diameters for the front wheels.

I'd say you can reuse the 225/45/18 on the rear until they wear out.

once that is done i'd personally go with 225/40/18 front and 235/40/18 rear if you want to get a little more meat back there. Don't do 245/40/18 because it will cause MAD RAKE compared to the front tire OD.

Front would need a 10 mm spacer to clear the dampers/springs, and the rear would be sunk and dumb looking. It'd need a 25mm at minimum to look cool.

I've run a 17x9 +20 with 235/40/17 RS2s on the front before, and it fit OK. My fenders were rolled/pulled though, so your results may vary.

Don't run a 235/50/17, that's a HUGE sidewall. Run 235/40/17.

Would 17x9 +24 fit all around with stock fenders and Stance GR+ Coilovers?

Tire suggestions are appreciated.

yes they fit, but stick out a little. you'll want 20mm front fedners and roll/pull the rears. or just stretch tires, and/or run lots of camber.
here they are with 245F and 275R, 1 degree camber all around (i'm now at like 2.5 up front)
245 in the front was with rolled stock fenders, right?

those are stock fenders up there, and yah theyre pulled out a bit.
with a bunch of camber, you prolly wouldnt need to deform them like i did. this pic is about 1 degree. i now have them around 2.5 degrees, and it looks like they might tuck under rolled (not pulled) stock fronts.
