Also a general question about the lazy man calculator-just to clarify that grey area where the two spreadsheets don't agree (I know it was stated above if there is a conflict trust the lazy man). Did all those reported working setups from the lazy man have stock (unrolled) fenders?

ok i used the calculator and i have a question.... i am looking to get the VOLK CE28N's 18x8.5 and 18x9.5. i am looking for as little offset as possible to get the most concavity that i can get and still fit. the 18x8.5 has offsets of +25, 30, 40, 47, 52. the lazy man calculator says that +25 would fit. im wondering if this is true.... also the rear wheels 18x9.5 come in +15, 22, 28, 34, 40, 47 . the lazy man calculator says +36 will work the closest volk has is +34. my front fenders are rolled and the rear are trimmed so im wondering if you guys think these sizes will fit??? according to the first spreadsheet it shows that i would have to go with +40 18x8.5 front and +34 18x9.5 rear. also if i was to run 18x9.5 all around the front would have to be +47 and rear +34, does this seems right????????? FWIW right now i am running 19x8 235/35/19 +45 front and 19x9.5 265/30/19 +43 rears with only slight rubbing on the front wheel lining when i hit a bad dip in the road but no fender clearance issues.

using the spreadsheet with 18x9 and 18x10.5 +38 all the way around it shows that the fronts will fit by a hair and the rears will be .26" too much to the outside. i figure with rolled front fenders and trimmed rears it would probably be just about perfect. but i would like to talk with someone who knows about wheel fitment specifically for FD's. the VOLK dealer i have been talking to doesnt know at all. any help would be appreciated.

Since I can't use the spread sheet on my Mac, need to see if a 18x10 45mm offset with 265/30-18 tires and coilovers will fit the front. I'm pretty sure at a minimum I might have to roll the fenders.

I have a quick question I am looking at some BBS at a local shop here in SD.

Are the specs that are on their site.
I dont plan on going widebody and I dont plan on going lower maybe a inch or two when I get rid of my stock suspension. I looked at the spread sheet and it seems like it might not be a good choice. Thanks-Evopanda

So I have 17x8.5+45 with 235/45 and 17x9.5+45 with 275/40 actually on the car, stock suspension. If I put these numbers into the calc it gives me a clearance of .52 outside and .98 inside.
Yet if I turn the wheel hard to one side or the other I get rubbing on the fender lining, which I cant just remove since it covers the engine bay (why did they do this? idk). Do I need to go with a smaller sidewall on the front?
Ive read on Flyweight's https://www.rx7club.com/suspension-wheels-tires-brakes-20/maximum-wheel-tire-width-fitment-guide-fd-892901/ thread that I can run a 255/40/17 up front. So Im kinda confused, is this kind of rubbing considered not a big deal or normal?
Theres a mountain road I drive that has a sudden decline and goes back up, I can hear the tire hit the fender if I take it aggressively. Also entering normal driveways (for banks and fast food) if I take anything less than a heads on entrance, my underside grinds. Is all of this something to do with my tires or more of a suspension thing?
What would you guys recommend? I love my wheels and havent yet bought new tires so Im open for suggestion.
