Yes, we do have a RHD model available that will accommodate a 35R or 500R. If you have any other questions regarding this set-up, feel free to PM me or send and e-mail to ryan@a-spec.com

Keep in mind this was done on a same motor same car with a existing 500R 1.06 A/r The new custom turbine in the .84 is showing more flow up top than the older turbine and 1.06 A/r. Hopefully that helps some.
any dyno sheets yet? how much power @ what kind of boost level can I expect?

Thank you Sean and Ryan! Finally received my turbo. Hopefully my car is ready for this weekends track day.

Question, I wanted to put an EGT pre-turbo but I got the ceramic coatings. If I tap in an EGT, its going to screw up the whole ceramic coating isn't it?

I forgot to pay attention but is there any bungs on the downpipe for wideband or o2? I'll go see tomorrow but just wondering. Silly question but was the downpipe ceramic coated too? I should have checked this stuff but I was in a hurry and don't really remember if the downpipe was supposed to be coated lol.

You will have to remove the ceramic coating if you weld on permanent Egt probe bungs. If you use the hose clamp style you will just have to drill a hole.

They're is an O2 bung present on the downpipe, but I would place a wideband unit in that location.

Good luck.

Can the clamp ons function under pressure without leaking exhaust? Any downside to using a clamp on?

Have fun wird!
Worth the wait I'm sure. Happy to wait for anything custom, as you know ASpec will do a good job.

If you think of any accompanying mods or things I should be asking Aspc for that would be great. I too opted for all the ceramic coating and looking fwd to hearing the sound of the Antisurge. EGT sounds like a wise move, to keep tabs on everthing

Only difference is mine will be RHD and we have 98 Octane here in Australia.

Good to hear! In terms of the ceramic coating, if you need to sand/grind off a small portion of it for an EGT bung that is no big deal...no worries on the rest of the coating.

There is an O2 bung in the downpipe, whether you would like to use it for a wideband or plug it is up to you.

Let me know if you have any other questions and i'll do my best to assist you. Thanks again for your patience.

No personal experience with them, but from what I've heard they do well, but I'm willing to bet over time the clamp will loose it's tension and leak exhaust.

I welded on permanent bunges. See attached link, second from last comment blog.

Got the kit installed and 2 problems were found. The oil return line would dip so it had to be shortened. And the wastegate would hit the downpipe so it had to be bent. I think both problems were because I got the short-runner manifold and probably wouldn't have had the problem if I got the long-runner (i'm assuming).

Anyway, no dyno testing because we found out blowing the twins caused more damage then just the turbo's. It's assumed the front rotor hydrolocked and broke an o-ring due to all the oil. So now the car won't be running for 1-2 weeks... arg...

Oil return lines shouldn't be shortened at all, Yours specifically was fitted before it was boxed up waiting for your arrival. I find that odd unless there is something you did differently. As for the DP that would be odd, but not impossible I have had one or two that had to be slightly ovalized, I think this was due to a change in the turbine housings we use, though I remembered adjusting for that, I wonder if more than the normal amount of material was removed off the T4 flange when surfaced? Though again I fitted it all here before I was expecting you to show up.

That isn't how it looked when put it together the first time. There was a clear dip in the oil return line and then it would come back up. As for the wastegate, don't think it could be hooked up any other way. exhaust manifold hooks up to the turbo, turbo hooks up to the downpipe, wastegate hooks up to the manifold and hits the downpipe. Anyway, its fine now, just mentioning it. I can take pics next week.

Anyway, the effort of getting it done quick was all in vain. Read the story if your bored... https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/long-sad-story-opinions-diagnosis-796230/

Thanks for getting the turbo ready though.
