Hey I have a 93 rx-7 with original 50k miles engine. I have the GT35r turbo setup. It is running 15lbs of boost tuned.. It is making 395rwhp.. Can I push the car harder, or is that asking for trouble? Also what is the best way to port the wastegate?

Thanks,
Mike

There should be no need to port the wastegate, you can push the car as hard as the tune, the octane and your wallet will allow. Turbo will drop in efficiency hard after 20lbs.

Yes, there is huge difference between downpipes on the twin setup between the LHD and RHD. Im very interested in the kit but would want to know if it has ever been tried before.

Cheers

Sorry on the RHD the steering rack causes alot of problems with turbo design. Has anybody fit this kit to a RHD drive car.

Cheers

Could you post or pm me the cost of the turbo alone (gt35r). I have the opportunity to get a good used one but im not sure on the price i was told. If the difference from what it is new is not that great then i'll opt for the new one. Thanx.

I wish I could make the $ = gbp Not yet as far as getting done. I'm trying to get caught up on all these kits and I really need to get some of these out first. I'm going to say a divided 1.0 housing is going to be your best bet for power and response. Are you just in need of a turbo (T3) for now?

If I get you a complete T4 turbo you are aware of needing a new manifold correct?

I think he means a devided turbo snail requires a devided exhaust manifold. If you current manifold is not devided then either there is no benefit and/or will not work and therefore not a simple bolt on replacement.

No I mean the T3 flange that is standard on the 35R is not the same as a T4 flange. Do you just have a standard out of the box 35R?

Take a measurement of the stud holes, hole centre to hole centre. Then let me know what you get. My guess is it is a T3 as that is what it sounds like.

centre to centre is 86-87mm length and 46mm width rectangular shape from turbo to manifold and turbo to downpipe is v band
id plate on turbo body is el6003j and 706451-5..is that any clearer as it is double dutch to me
