It's about time you chimed in here Brad, How's the FC?

 

Its in process again. I have been traveling so much that it was a storage bench in the garage for a while. Did you break another motor? or has the FD been down that long?

 

Last motor was dropping side seals in the secondary port and cracked some corner seals, Then It was down for a while and I got some new irons and had BDC do a HBP, that took quite awhile sense he was swamped with work at the time. Then I got a larger turbine housing (still not quite big enough though lol) for my 3574 and the the motor has been running for almost ayear now untuned(hardly drove it anywhere) I decided to install a meth kit and have it tuned but ended up straying away from Aux inj as i got tired of waiting on FJO's system that kept getting it's release date pushed back every month. My new plan is to run E85. So I sold all the meth parts I aquired and started beefing up my fuel system.

I'm now running twin ND fuel pumps in parallel, 4x 1680cc injectors that are finally being shipped back to me from being cleaned along with some anodized rails. And an FJO injector driver to run my corn squirters. I've still gotta wire up and calibrate my 3bar mapsensor too. somuch to do, so little time...

I really wanna get my car tuned so I can set upsome meets and get some track time.

 

Maybe ya oughta bring me up, Cyan. I'm only a few hours drive south of you. I bet I could do that thing.

 

I've been planning on having mr. Kan tune it (he's done the tuning on all of my different setups) But when I'm finally ready to bring it down if he isn't available or is out of town I'll probably be hitting you up. Have you tuned many setups with E85?

Nice to see you chime in, correct me if I'm wrong but you bought your FD from a guy named Kevin a fews years back right? Just curious how it's doing, haven't seen it sence kevin owned it and it was having a few issues at the time.

 

Anyone in or near Tulsa have a good FC leading coil they are willing to part with? Mine crapped out on me.

Yea I bought it from Kevin had it 3 days and found out the compression was shot. Didnt know a damn thing about rotary's at the time. I was leaving for Germany for 3 months so I took it down to be rebuilt. everything has been doing good till the clutch went out here a couple months ago. I replaced that the transmission , flywheel and pressure plate this past week took it for a drive and it seemed to be running alittle rough, so i pulled it into the garage this evening and was looking the engine bay over and found the loose wire and the connector i posted about in the 3rd gen section.. lol i still love the car though. Ive taken it to a couple of auto crosses at the Sheriff's track in OKC and had a blast. Im wantin to get it painted sometime this next year and put a methanol kit on it and have it retuned.

 

Motec and an AEM; i trew that JE thing in the trash.

Hey I'm putting my 93' back together without the help of a buddy that is hurt bad with a back injury, and I don't know what I'm doing. He was doing most of the work and was doing the easy stuff. Can anyone here help out or know where I can take it to finish it?
