I spent this week/weekend de-pinning 4 FD harnesses. I'm 90% sure it'll be finished by tonight.
I should have two knock sensors wired in - calibrating my EMS to each sensor will suck so maybe I'll do one?

I removed all the worthless crap.. almost left in the OMP plug but removed it. I'm yanking off the manifold for the last time today / tomorrow - I used some oversized exhaust studs with oversized nuts which kept backing off!

Hey guys, I'm in the middle of a cross country road trip from Dayton, Ohio to Monterey, California driving my buddies t2 swapped FC. The problem is he's running an aftermarket turbo (t043b IIRC) with a Power FC and tuned to run on 93.

We had to get some 91 in Miami and we are staying in Tulsa tonight. Is there anywhere in Tulsa or maybe Oklahoma City to buy 93 octane. I'm going to check this thread in the morning. I would really apperciate the help.

If the answer is there is none well let me know if you at least want to see the car or cruise on the highway with us for a few miles. Good rolling pics are offered. thanks guys.

Sorry man, you won't find any 93 here in tulsa. I've heard there are one or 2 stations in OKC with 93 but that was a few years ago and I don't know if they still have it or even where they are. As far as the cruise goes, where in T-town are you? I assume you're traveling on I-44?
I may be down for some rolling pix. When are you heading out?

rx7drift7, that sounds like a great trip!! Just, think, we have to deal with no 93oct ALL THE TIME..... Kinda sucks unless we do as hwnd mentioned above. Cyan, I can't wait to finally see your car tomorrow, as well as also finally meeting hwnd. I pulled my car from the garage yesterday and blew some cobwebs out of it down 75... Felt so good to be back in it again.

Come on now, that shouldn't really take THAT long... hahahahaa.. You are going to love that lc-1. I had bought the aem a few years ago, never installed it, then sold it for the lc-1. Very glad I did, it is such a nice unit.

I meant I couldn't make it to roll with rx7rift7, I'll be at the meet tomorrow. Just need to clean the car. The LC-1 is up and running. I'm impressed so far. On the topic of AFR I can't believe my spark plugs have lasted half as long as they have. My car is running soooooo rich it's not even funny. I knew i was dumping fuel because of my smokey tailpipe but damn! My afr's are in the high 11s while cruising and mid 11s at idle. The jacob's amp seems to be doing it's job though lol.

I'm looking foward to our get together tomorrow, see you guys later.

Well my day was off to a bad start. I took my wife down town to eat with her friends and I must have jinxed myself about my plugs not fouling out cause they did so I drove to napa and picked up some replacements when I got to my dads garage I jacked my car up and all off a sudden my turbo coolant line busted. So after a trip to loses racing I got it all back together. No time for a wash so the old California car duster will have to do LOL.

It was good to finaly meet you Noah. Your FD is super clean, one of these days i hope mine looks half as clean. You popped a good sized flame on the BA before we got down town. I just had to see another FD get on it lol. IT pulls real nice. Now i feel that much more impatient to get my car ready. I hope to have my injectors on the way to get cleaned by next weekend and while their out i'll be throwing in another fuel pump and finishing up a few loose ends. Next time my car is out it will finally be ready for a tune. Sux no one else was able to make it *cough*Jason*cough* j/k man. I didn't save your new # in my phone yet so i couldn't get a hold of you. Sorry man.

I look foward tothe next meet, Hopefullyit's a bit warmer and several more cars will show. Ny then I be ready to have some real fun.

I tend to keep mine inside the garage.
Every g.d. time I take one of the cars out, some fkn honda will materialize out of nowhere and take on the form grandma's `ankle biter` dog and chew at my ankles.

...true story, once i was being `attacked` by a 4 door honda (missing a hood), babyseat in the back, etc.. kept reving at me, over and over. I looked at him and said "you're a waste of fuel".. oh my god did i hurt his feelings. ;-)

I tend to play with my cars EMS calibration more than anyone else I know.
Today it will run WOT up to 20psi, tomorrow who knows - there are a lot of options and compensation maps to tune (injector phasing for one example)... so typically i'm caught on an unsafe map but the "are you ******* serious" glare gives silent "**** off". :-)

HAHAHA!! Yeah, it not only works on honda's but it equally effective on mustang and camaro owners...

Cyan, yeah it was really good to finally meet you as well. Good to meet another fd owner here in Tulsa that actually wants to get some meets together. Thanks for the complements on the car, I have put quite a bit of hard work into it and hopefully it just keeps getting better... Still several things on the "to do" list.. TIRES TIRES TIRES!! Nice to know it is still shooting some good flames, I have fun with tailgaiters with that.. Never really went more than about 1/2 throttle, damn tires....

I am LOVING the sound of your half-bridge. Wow... What else can I say than it was the coolest sounding thing, especially underneath the BA overpass.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the car more when you get some wider, stickier rubber under it. Your car scoots pretty good, especially if that was only 1/2 throttle.

I've already pulled my injectors and rail. I sent them out yesterday for cleaning and anodizing. I'm gonna try to have it up and running again with the new fuel system before april ends and have it tuned ASAP. I'd like to make the may Sheriff's track event if possible.
