Yeah, I may try and bring the Z to a couple of those track events till I get some new rims for the FD.. Who is doing your anodizing? Anyone here in town? I knew there used to be a few shops that did pretty good work for a good price.

I hope to be one less FD this summer and one running 20B-FD.

btw, I have one of Racing Beating `Bridge Port` templates pre-cut. so if you want to scribe some irons with it, you're welcome to it... I have one template from PineApple (intake and exhaust). I ended up going another route.

I cannot wait to see that 20B. I have not seen a running one in person.

I would just get new tires, but it seems kind of a waste when I am in the market for some new rims as well. Mine are not as polished and shiny as yours...

Same here about the 20B. I forgot you are currently looking for rims/rubber, you've got plenty of time to pick up a set. You know you really wanna run the FD and not that boring old z

Wheels: Blitz technospeed z1
Rear: 19"
Front: 18"

I'm deciding on polished or chromed. The front are polished and rears are chromed.

See... Now you have done it.. I have been tossing around the idea of running 18's up front and 19's in the rear. That looks pretty good. Personally I do not like chrome. I true chromed rim is usually stupid heavy.

I would much rather drive the fd than the z at the track, though rims are a ways off just because of all the wedding expenses at the moment... Plus I would like the throw the z around a little.

well, the chrome isn't a a big deal, the T51R-SPL(GT4594LR) will make 'em move just fine.
I've also been looking at using a GT47r but haven't put too much effort into it yet.

If I do go with the GT47R, I'll be selling the HKS turbo. it has 0/zero miles on it. :-D

Welcome to Oklahoma man, The gas here still sux but we don't have to worry about emmisions. As far as meets go we don't have anything locked in on a regular basis as of yet. But I will be working on that as soon as I get my FD tuned (currently upgrading fuel system). In the mean time maybe someone else will step up and get something going...

hwnd...Oh I know you aren't going to have a problem moving some heavy wheels!! Though I will have to say personally I also favor the look of a polished rim over chrome. But that is just a personal opinion.

Sideways...Welcome to Oklahoma. Sorry to hear you are stuck down in ft. sill. Lawton freaking sucks and there are mostly just a bunch of little ricer boys down there with very poorly built cars driving around. The fastest cars are probably on base. And if you have not found much to do down there, just stop looking b/c there isn't anything... I used to do quite a bit of hiking/rock climbing out there in the refuge and over near Quartz mtn but really there just isn't much.

Cyan, Lawton is 1.5 hrs from OKC. It takes about 3hrs to get there from Tulsa. Maybe a BIG meet with all the OKC, Tulsa, and Lawton guys in OKC would be cool. It would be a great meeting point for really most anyone in the state. One of the track days would be a cool option too. It would be quite an event with the track and maybe some BBQ. Maybe a trip on into Bricktown?? I dunno, just throwing out ideas.

It seems the "chrome" is actually called "Blitz Silver" (not chrome).

Here is a photo I found showing it up close;

^^That looks pretty smooth. Yeah, it is hard to tell in a pic but it does not look to be a real chrome. It really just looks like polished aluminum (the lip of coarse). Those will look damn good on your car...

OH! I forgot to ask earlier in the week, I saw a MB FD parked off of 51st between sheridan and memorial. It was on the north side of the road on a small side street... Anyone?

That's sounds like a good Idea, especially the track part I've got a few ideas
for some fun meets but I really wanna have my car lined out before I commit to anything. This comming week while my injectors are still out I should be installing mt boost controller and FJO injector driver. I've also got some parts onthe way for my dual fuel pump setup. I think I'll make a thread dedicated to mynew setup and changes...
