Gabriel Gonzales/"Rotary Performance Plus" screwed me (long).

Wouldnt be a bad idea... but I wouldnt trust the engine work that was done. It would be ashamed to crank the engine and have the coolant seals leaking into the engine a ruin something else.

I got a huge "honey-do" list that someone else doesn't seem to ever get too...
Can food buy your services in other areas (ie: installing replacement windows, doors, etc)?
*note: I can cook & bake well
wow, I just read throught that whole thing and Im really sorry man. My baby is going in for a transplant this winter and all I can say is thank god I know the shop and its repu around here. You still have me a little nervous though lol. This may be a little evil but after hearing about this guy and his business practices, I offer this bit of advice. Somehow with him not registering as a business and not keeping very good money books, I sincerly doubt his reporting to the IRS has been all that "HONEST". Im sure they would love to hear about it.
Just something for everyone thinking of helping Vick out with his car...
Remember that any repairs or attempts to "fix" the poor car probably won't begin anytime soon. There are several things that Vick needs to sort out before the time will come to fix up the FD. I'm not trying to put a downer on everyones celebration, but Vick still has a long way to go in this matter, the time for celebration or rebirth for the FD isn't here quite yet.
Vick, feel free to corect me if I am wrong.
... On the other hand, I SURE could use some help with my car that Gabriel Fu#@ed up... any volunteers???
Thanks everyone!

DrKilljoy is somewhat correct. I'm trying real hard to get everything sorted out by Friday. Tomorrow I'm going to talk to someone at 1st precinct and I have to go take a trip to the credit union to get a copy of my bank statement the month I withdrew $1000+ in the form of a cashier's check made out to Gabriel Gonzales. I think I should have all of my evidence against Gabriel ready and the work on my car to commence on Friday.

I'm going to spend Friday afternoon at my parent's house off near beltway 8/ 249 area. The car is at my house near 290 and barker cypress, down the road from Langahm Creek. Picking you guys up isn't a problem.
I'll try to prepare the meat for Friday. My dad should be able to stop by to cook them. Hurry though, steaks are on a first come, first serve basis.

You know it's funny.. when we originally posted our problems over a year ago...
Gabriel had all types of supporters who came out of the woodwork and tried to talk smack, make personal attacks and otherwise tried to intimidate me and Lori.
Where are these guys today I wonder, it seems that so many of his supporters have faded into the woodwork? Or is it maybe this guy is burning his bridges slowly but surely?
Just a thought?
(PS) Psst Vick.. make sure to PM me or Lori your address n stuff for Friday!.. Thanks

RPP wanted to get their name out to the rotary community, they sure got a **** load of exposure through these forums. so far I have seen this thread on four different forums.

DrKilljoy- I don't know who in their right mind would defend Gabriel in this incident. I'm sure he's already starting to smear me with some lie as to what really happened to everyone he knows.
FormerPorscheGuy- Your avatar ain't so bad either.
Well, I went to the Credit Union and they can give me a bank statement for that month I paid him showing a withdraw of funds but unfortunately it won't have Gabriel Gonzales' name on it.
I also went to 1st precinct and again I got the run around. They told me I had to go to the Sheriff's Dept. so I'm going to try to go later today. I'll still probably make the meeting tonight.
haha, I just found some OLD PMs that me and Keith sent to each other last year regarding
GG.

Are you having trouble with Gabriel? I just read that thread and am curious.

i have some great pics online somewhere showing my engine internals laying inside the back hatch of my car on my mint condition carpet..
live and learn... FWIW.. go by there during the day.. when there is none of his gang there.. and see how long you could hang out in the back... i guarentee you have enough time to go back there.. and take parts outta your car and leave before anyone would say something... i mean the car is so unsecure its scary .. at least to me...

Seriously? Parts on top of it? I really don't mind it being uncovered, but parts on top of it? Like on the hood or roof? I think I may have a talk with him. I want my car out of there in 2 weeks. [ HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!1--Vick] After that, its off to MazMax for a compression check.
Thanks for looking out,
Vic

it makes me sad to see how he treats your car.. it's never covered.. i have seen parts laying on top of it .... to me that is unacceptable... i have been told by someone very close to him, that he is NOT doing business the way he started doing business 9 months ago... and alot has changed in the way he is "treating" his customers...
Aspire wrote on 03-25-03 12:01 AM:
Well, it was obvious that Gabriel was under pressure to satisfy and so far I haven't been having any problems with him. But I know who to contact if I get screwed.
