WOW, just finished reading ALL of it. I'm sorry dude, that ****** will get whats comin to him. It reminded me a lot of a mustang shop that fucked some guy over ( I think in texas as well actually ), it was posted in the NW forum awhile back. Im not really a mustang guy at all, but his story had me real pissed at this shop that screwed him. And now to see almost the same **** happen to one of my own kind...a fellow rotorhead, it enrages me.

Keep us updated man, this guy is going to go out of business for sure if he doesn't fix this bullshit big time (which it sounds like he has no intentions on fixing anything). This whole forum will know soon enough

Can anyone recommend a lawyer for Vick who specializes in deceptive trade practices in Texas and is rotary friendly (or can be)?

Hey Keith, isn't there a lawyer who is a local owned with a silver and red FD?

 

Basically, my lawyer couldn't take the case if I go civil (which is what I want to do). He's not as versed on TX deceptive trade practice as other lawyers so he couldn't work on a constingency basis. If I want to take him to small claims court, the judge WILL rule in my favor, but Gabriel doesn't have a pot to **** in so it would do me little good.

Nope, there is another one in the Houstn Area. He showed up last fall at a meet. He was a lawyer. Keith, do you know who I am talking about.

No such thing as "specializing" in any particular catagory or part of the law. At least not in Texas. Many attorneys only handle certain type cases, but that doesn't mean they have a special license or certification. The best thing to do is to retain an attorney that is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law and that he/she handles DTPA cases.
