Anyone hear from Gabriel lately?

 

Someone emailed the club some information on him and where he was working out of. I'm not posting it, but if anyone asks I will share privately. (What you do with it then is your business, including posting it here!)

 

I can't believe he's still in Houston and doing business.

 

well i met this guy and obiously hes full of ****.
i go to his house and hes washing his bike, he sees me pull up in my fc and begins asking me wat i planed on doin with it.

at the time he really seemed more interested in the bike, well he said a job that i thought would take almost 2 months he could do in 2 weeks right...!
a complete rebuild with turbo new everything almost.
i dont know y the hell all u guys fell for his **** this guy clearly knows nothing of rotary tuning.
he might be able to do some internal work thats it!
Hes clearly full of **** trust me i know guys just like him.
they brag and talk **** and wen it comes down to it theyre just trying to scam someone.ya herd,
he told me that he works on rx7 at his shop A1 superheads and sais he has worked on the fastest rx7 in houston....??? please i felt like slaping his dumb ***!!!
he said give him money up front to start workin on it, yeah sure i will...
them all of a suden those 2 weeks turn to months and years...
and he finally scams u out of 5 or 6 grand!

well one last thing to the guy who bought his red t2.
youre boy gab is crooked!!! and i know crooked trust me hes bad!!!
stop goin around recomending him. and be carefull with the t2 he sold u.
i dont want to buy it anymore knowing he worked on it.

 

i owned that t2 for 1day and that motor is not going to last at all!! eh stated that motor is rebuilt and thats bullshit....he bought that motor from me and that motor has about 145k..,,..,...

 

so this guy pretty much got away with $2300 and destroyed your FD and is still in business.. well if the legal system doesnt follow through, you have to resort to a non-legal resolution you know where he lives..

 

I understand that there may already be individuals who have taken that approach...

Trust the guys in the local club (RX Club of Houston - Welcome to the RX Club of Houston Website)

We are a pretty tight knit group and shady people get weeded out pretty quick.

Just beware of random people offering services or presenting themselves as experts. There aren't many GOOD builders in Houston and even fewer people who can tune.

 

Hell, they're aren't many GOOD builders in the entire damn country..... trust me, I've torn down my fair share of their builds at this point

 

theres another puerto rican guy name "peter" in houston claims he can do anything rotary, says he has a shop here in town.

 

at this point im probably going to ship my engine either to pineapple racing , goopy or pettit.

met this guy at the last IFO in Baytown, had a nice red corolla he was racing (probably with all the money he's been stealing) and a week later was talking with some puertorican friends about the cars at the show and mentioned the corolla and everybody was telling me to stay the hell away from this crookkkk!

Even us puertoricans need to stay away from this guy! LOL

 

im tryng to tell yall, yall better stay away from him hes nothing but a thief I know somebody that use to work with him and he told me Gabriel got fired for ordering parts and putting it under the shops bill and he never ended up paying for the parts.

 

Im still confused on the story with this guy and how he got mixed up in the rx7 community? I wonder if he knows hes been blackballed and labeled as a thief ...im pretty sure word gets around he must know by now...

 

he knows what he did, he is always talking about how he fucked over people and he didn't give a damn.
