yeah hey i shouldve posted more specs. Its a T4 that has been rebuilt so i am not sure all teh internals now. It has a .96 a/r with a 60mm front wheel. 350rwhp was @ 13psi. My tuner didnt want to go higher. He felt that the octane wasnt there. My other friend has bought a Super T70 off ssautochrome on ebay and @ 11psi on a slightly smaller port made 380rwhp and 320Tq hes getting full boost @ 3800. I am getting full boost at about 3300. Im running 4 x 720cc injectors

NYT you running 20psi on pump gas?

when do u guys figure you are running out of octane? do u tune till it gives a little then back off a bit? what size injectors are your running? I am guess bigger injectors and mroe fuel would do nothing if the octane is not there?

generall 93 octane is on the limit around 22 psi in a rotary (from my experience).

i just tune to 11:1 and use safe timing (13advance/10split @ 20psi).

i had a gt40 50 trim that was too small and couldnt provide the boost i needed up top, now i use a pt61 with to4s cover and .96 a/r p trim turbine.

NYT is certainly breaking the conventions of how much boost on pump gas. Steve Kan told me 17 psi on 93, when he tuned my car. Most Forum experts say 17-18psi (maybe they mean 91 Octane, but I doubt it).

Maybe I will follow my Wolf3D brother into 20 psi land, we got Sunoco 94 up here in Canada

I dont know many people running over 18psi on pump gas, 94 is not a huge difference from 93.. seems like you are really pushing your motor and what the gas can withstand for a few ponies...

As my daily setting, I run 1 bar which made 380 whp on the dyno (while running 110) so it is probably actually a bit more than that.

^ Let's say you have a safe tune to 17 psi on pump 94.

Are there any guidlines as to how many more psi of boost you can run and degrees of timing you can add with 100 Octane.

I can get it at the pump here

its all in the tuning... 25 would be safe on a full tank of 100 provided the tuning was good and nothing else in the motor lets go =] you gotta realize thats a lot of power =]
