a nice lightweight 1st gen with 91mph in the 1/8?

You're were making 300-310rwhp tops on that pass.

here's the chart... i fixed the turbo since then, so it's spoolin' up about 600 rpm quicker. (mentally adjust the torque band to compensate)

it's not a great looking graph, i'll admit that. but the power is there--that's with no boost controller.

ball bearing center, 16 psi, decent boost controller, and i should be hittin' full boost by 36-3700 rpm realistically.

at 16 psi, i expect no less than 420 whp, but i think it'll be more than that...~425-435ish. i think i'm getting more than 10hp per pound.

that is if you can get get it to hook up right ,look at the 60 ft time that tells you how much wheel spin i had which was pretty much all 1st and 2nd gear.
how do i post images with a reply?

Actually thats a fairly decent 60' on street tires. If you were burning tires through 1st and 2nd it'd be like a 2.3-2.4.

The fact of the matter is, unless you're running a 3 rotor, you're not making anywhere near 377 rwhp at 9 psi of boost

GuitarJunkie, whats going on with you upper rpms? It looks like its falling off. I though half-bridges are supposed to pull to 9k+ rpms?

don't know for sure. the turbo being jacked at the time and spoolin up slowly would account for the narrow torque band--it's much better now.

but i honestly don't know what's gong on up top. it's a spare parts experimental motor anyway.

haltech controlling stock fc ignitors/coils, and a jacobs fc1000 on the leading. but i got the jacobs after the last dyno sheet i posted, so it's probably a couple hp on top of that at the same boost level now.

and i got the second pump and regulator!!! so i'm planning on the next dyno trip to be either right before or right after new years. dunno where the 62 will top out, but i'm sure 430 will be pretty easy to get. that's about good for a commuter car for me anyway.

My good friend Matt is putting down 410rwhp @ 14psi on 93 octane, and 450rwhp @ 19psi on 93 octane. He has a 3rd gen RX7 with a mild street port, water jacket mod, Ceramic 2mm Apex Seals, Greddy Intake Elbow, Greddy FMIC, HKS Super Dragger exhaust, RX7Store.net GT35/40 Turbo kit, Fluidyne Radiator, Racing Beat clutch, Kaaz LSD, and an Apexi Power FC. That's all I can think of right now.

Dee

PS. Oh yeah, all work was done by Rotorsports Racing in Kannapolis, NC

Yeah, it can make more power at 22psi and race gas. I'll let you guys know when he dynoes it again with higher boost and race gas.

is the 35/40 a hybrid?
if it does have the t3 flange, are you guys concerned with reversion and backpressure at that boost level?

It is a hybrid. I'm not sure what makes it a hybrid, but I remember him saying it was a hybrid. It has a t4 flange. The exhaust housing is over 1.00. I think it might be like 1.25 or something like that.

well if it's got a t4 flange i don't know how it would be considered a hybrid. but oh well.

maybe someone who knows more than me can chime in?

Maybe it is a 35/40R? I don't know if that would make a difference or not.
