I don't know about the IC piping....kinda seems long to me. That entire 6" will have some mad pressure drop. (I'm kidding.) That thing will be a beast! CJ

I think it's funny once people make one and they realize the time involved especially the staring at it part. Good job, make sure it braced well that tubing is on the thinner side.

I'm sure there are other factors involved like heat etc. etc. etc but the weight of the turbo plays a big part I would imagine.

Well, I figured since I'm running such a large turbo and big boost.............. I wouldn't need a wastegate ? Dead weight ?

Just a tip for those who read this now. I have some experience welding and some great teachers at my disposal. What you want to do with wire feed and welding pipes like that is, take each piece of pipe and grind a 45 degree angle onto the surface that is going to be welded on. That way there is a 90 degree valley between the 2 pipes when you tack them together. This makes the welds A LOT cleaner because it helps to recess the weld its self. It also makes it a lot easier to weld the two pieces in general because if your heat speed and gas are good then when you aim for the middle of the valley the weld arcs between both sides making it a really simple procedure. I just don't have the patience to go making manifolds though. I'll make a sweet downpipe when i'm done but man you have ***** for making a manifold.

Yeah, I tapered the ends as much as possible. Alteast from the outside in.

I had never welded before and had literally spend about 45 minutes worth of practicing before welding up that manifold. I aint skeered

Vband and clamp and flange didn't come in today like it was promised so I couldn't finish my downpipe.

Anyone ever seen a $175 donut ? That's what you need when a short radius 90 won't cut it.
