t70 oil lines

i have a S4 turbo engine and I am trying to figure out what fittings hose and oil lines I need.

I have the fitting that goes into the block and goes to -4an, then I assume I need a 90 there, some -4 hose, and then a fitting for the turbo ( i cant quite tell what size the threads on the turbo are) Do I need a restrictor?

then for the return, I assume I have to get a flange for the bottom then run -8 or -10 lines from there to some other fitting I have no clue about.

Can someone help me fill in the blanks here please?

come on guys, I know someone knows the answer to this right off the top of their head and I have searched my ***** off.

I can prolly figure out what fitting I need for the feed side of the turbo by trying a few bolts till it feels right,

I can also probably find a turbo oil drain, but I really have no clue what size the fitting for the return at the motor is.

And i can just run the -4 line straight w/o the restrictor and see what happens I guess.

also I'm worried about the temperature of the oil inlet at the turbo, the highest rated -4 ss hose I found was rated for 450 degrees.

Any ideas?

ok i think I have everything figured out at this point except the type of hose ( not size) for the temperature it is subjected to and the flange that goes to the motor for the drain.

Feed line:

-04AN to 1/4NPT straight flare fitting: 555-100103 -$2.99

or (depending on the feed line fitting on your turbo)

-04AN to 1/8NPT straight flare fitting: 555-100101 - $2.99

-04AN 90* Hose end: 555-100020 - $12.49

-04AN Straight Hose end: 555-100000 - $7.69

-04AN Stainless Braided Hose 3 foot length (will need to be cut unless you want a ton of extra hose hanging around): 555-100900 - $13.99

Flare fitting for your front housing will depend on your model as BDC noted in his photos. Several companies (Russel, Earls, Aeroquip) make these, but Jegs does not stock them. Summit Racing has the Earl's Fittings in the sizes needed.

For Series 4/5: a 12mmx1.5 to -04AN adapter: EAR-9919BFGERL - $9.69

For Series 6: a 14mnx1.5 to -04AN adapter: EAR-9919BFHERL - $9.69

Subtotal - Feed line: $47.35

Drain Line:

-Oil Drain flanges. You need TWO of them. Jegs does not stock these as far as I know. www.atpturbo.com does.

-TWO Aluminum T3/T4 Oil Drain Flange: ATP-FLA-009 - $15.00 x 2

-TWO 12AN to 1/2" NPT Flare Fittings: 555-100111 - $7.99 x 2

-12AN 90* Hose End: 555-100024 - $19.99

-12AN Straight Hose End: 555-100004 - $10.99

-12AN Stainless Braided Hose 3 Foot length (shortest available, will need to be cut, obviously): 555-100940 - $23.99

Subtotal - Drain line: $100.95

Total: $148.30 + shipping from various places

a lot of people use 10AN, it's a bit cheaper. and some people use restrictors in the feed line

Give this a try:

http://bdc.cyberosity.com/v/Technica...nes-FC3S-FD3S/

As previously mentioned, you don't have to use -12AN for the drain. -10 will work.
