My Greddy t-88 powered FD

I thought I would post some pictures of my setup. Some things remain to be chromed, but overal she is done!

A lot of time and effort went into this project and I would like to thank Marko and his staff at Forcefed Performance.

I put down 425whp @ 14psi, and 455.2whp @ 17psi, enjoy the photos....

During the project....

WOW!!!

I know the T-88 produces a little bit more turbo lag cause it's a bigger turbo, but i can't really imagine how good that feels when it kicks in.

If you haven't already, read my recent thread: https://www.rx7club.com/single-turbo-rx-7s-23/greddy-t88-compressor-wheel-word-warning-ppl-greddy-kits-545716/
I don't know what i'm going to do for a filter, but that greddy POS isn't going back on.

I have pretty much an identical set up as you besides the EMS. Looks good!

Thanks everyone, I appreciate it!

The car was built for drag racing, but it's becoming a very "enjoyable" daily driver.

Zinx: I hear you on the Greddy filter, but I know that you can get a custom K&N filter that will fit.

Very, very nice... Are you going to keep the boost at 17psi max. in the future? Either way, I'm sure 450whp is good enough for most people.

Any chance you have a copy of your dyno-sheet you can post up?

The boost will be going up next year to around 25-27psi. I will need to run two external pumps and I will be running a custom intercooler.

I don't have a scanner, but I will try to take a picture of the dyno sheet with my digital camera.

I feel like 3 pounds should have made more than 30 hp were you getting any fuel pressure drop?

Nice car but I can't help but think that with your ported engine and a T88 you should be able to squeeze more power then 455 @ 17psi. Not flaming at all, just stating what most people out there will think.

I think those numbers are about what to expect. I've seen most t88s at 15psi push out 450HP give or take depending on timing and air fuel ratio.

Below are the numbers I have seen on average. Personally, I think he should be happy with those numbers.

Boost- HP
10 psi-350-400
15 psi-450
20 psi- 500
25 psi- 550
30 psi- 600

One of the main reasons I did not put down more HP is because I'm only running the Greddy 2 row intercooler. Thats all that I had at the time so I used it. Plus the intercooler was getting extremely heat soaked, temp outside that day were 30 celcius.

I appreciate the opinions, I really feel that with a 4" core intercooler I can reach 450whp @ 14psi. For know I will have to settle for 425whp
