I finally got around to putting my single kit in and everything was fine until I installed my ecu. I've got a microtech lt8 with the plug and play harness and hand controller. The problem I have is that when I turn the ignition to on to set the hand controller the controller doesn't come on and the ecu and the dash lights flicker and make a weird chirping/buzzing sound. I removed the ecu to check the harness and there was no weird sound/flickering of the lights. Can anyone guess what the problem is. Any help would be great. Thanks.

 

check battery voltage and grounds.

 

Make sure none of the stock ECU ground came loose in the process of doing that install. I had the same issue. One of the grounds on the inside of the car that screws to a stud on the firewall had come loose.
