Just got back from Re-Worx !
Great job Geff and Max ! well done.

We mapped the car on E85
1600 and 850cc injectors are not enough with a base fuel pressure of 4.1BAR
We mapped at 0.9 Bar turbo pressure

all temps are just fine.. no knock no nothing
qoute from Geff: This engine likes running LEAN

432.2HP at the wheels at 0.9 BAR

flywheel

Yes I did it !

Won the Tima Attack event.
1ste place in the Semi pro with 7 sec to the next car.
3th place overal. after the 2 RC development cars

Car did run great.
boost was a little to high but it went ok.
50Liters E85 in 7 easy laps... 5 hot laps.

Fitted a carbon diffusor

track time after time attack event.
we did one lap... collected our prices and went back on track.

we finish 1, 2, and 3 with our team !

1 bar is 14.5 PSI
so 0.9 bar is 13.05 PSI

last time attack went ok.
I was in the Extreme class... together with pro drivers and cars who race every weekend.
6th place out of 18
I was running R888 semi slicks... the top 10 was using Full slicks.
I my fast lap lifted a few times.. one before the strait for the sound check (had a black flag earlier that day)
also let a BMW (RB26DETT) go.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hFYqQpT4pw

Next round is in September and I hope I have some full slicks for that race.

A few weeks ago we had some track time at Spa Francorchamps
had a litthe fun with some porsches

Raced an other round of Time Attack here in The Netherlands

during the warm-up no boost... forgot to hook up the solenoid.
had only 0.9 bar at 8000RPM

In the finale it took 3 laps to wake up the boost controller a little bit.
Had only 1.1 bar wich is normally 1.35 bar.. so the car was slow

3th lap I missed a braking point.. so did a easy lap.
4th should be a good lap.

but then: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvcxXTrxG1w

so no points this time... only a few drivers did a fast lap .. other where also in the fast lap when this happend.
A EVO had a tire blown.. at 255km/u .. parts all over the track.

Can you tell me what this car does 100kmh to 200kmh in please, from your recordings? how is the speed measured? GPS? How heavy is this car also (with you in it, if you know). Thanks
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvcxXTrxG1w
I time it in this video at about 8.2 seconds? 3rd to 4th
& ~8.9 seconds? 2nd, 3rd, to 4th (on back straight after slow corner).
Assuming that car is around 1280kg with you in it then the engine would have no more than 450bhp (in that video) or its badly lacking in mid range power and only seems to work well from 6.5k to 7.5k rpm?
The power band is very peaky it looks like in the video it does not really get going until your at the end of the gear shift? You would maybe benefit from revving it to 9krpm's and using a higher numerical differential pinion and crown wheel?

Do you have any videos of it running 1.35bar boost? Would love to see them.

EDIT, I looked up and saw your estimated engine power graph and it shows the power characteristics which come across in the video, please excuse my lack of attention

in the video from 26-06 it is running better.

As I told the boost controller is not working as it should.
There was a lag of power at lower RPM.
I think an other gear ratio would be nice.

The thing is.. when it got mapped in the UK the guy told me it was mapped at 0.9 ~ 1 bar peak.
When I first drove it... the apexi AVC-R showed 1.35 bar
I did not look at the AVC-R when it was on the dyno.. they used there own boost gauge.

I will put the car back on the dyno soon the get the boost controller sorted.

Thanks for the reply. The boost mapping/controller seems to come on o.k. at ~4400rpm given that it seems like its the porting, most street ports give power lines like the one in your above graph at the top of the page.

Can you tell me how heavy it is? have you weighed it?

it's a real nice car btw
