are you going to break the engine in on the dyno or just boost the hell out of it?

It'll get heat cycled a few times then 30+ psi never hurt anyone....

Pretty much just like it sounds start up and let warm to temp shut it off till cool and repeat, this will break in the bearings and give everything a chance to settle in! The number or cycles probley is debatable.

Surly there isn’t to many people doing that. Can that rally run the engine in or is it just a race thing or something?

Its the way i did mine i didnt have time to break it in becouse i was traveling to the tunners. I belive if its clearenced correctley theres no problems. After tunning i went home and had maybe 200 mile on it and the third run at the track was a 10.87 and its been smooth sailing for over a year.
And how would you put big miles on a race motor thats running 45psi plus so i think its in the build how much the break in is.

Why'd you change the hood Ernie? Good luck at E-Town. You should try getting that IRS record on the stock FD trans though.

Hey Justin,
I needed a vented hood and ain't no way the stock tranny will hold up. Im tired of changing them out. With the G-Force its one and done!
