haha. . . she "says" shell go. . . but i dont think she really wants to. besides, i need to have a copilot and she wont touch it since she pushed my clutch in about 3 months ago. haha. she said, "NO WAY. . . PERIOD!!!" hahahaha.

Ok.. Just got off the phone with steve kan and couple of guys responded from other forum..

SO,

Just to make sure, we have following definitely could do it it next weekend??

3. Mikes friend with supra
4. Vincent in Bham
5. Bham G35 with supercharge (maybe?? steve is figuring out if he could tune this)

IF the G35 guy could get his car tuned, we would need 1 more..

Steve said he's pretty damn busy and definitely come if we have 5-6.. Vincent doesn't quite count..

 

I thought Rotorbrain did not count since Steve owe's him??
I e-mailed my friend (David) with Supra and told him it would most likely get moved to next month and he was cool with that as he has not quite put enough miles on his car. I do not think he wants to short cut it since he is looking to tune for 800hp! He also has a buddy in a porsche that will be ready for tunning in August (if Steve can tune it).

I will ask him tonight what he wants to do. Mike

First, let me just ask everyone if we really want to tune our cars in the hotest part of the year? I will still do it but will only tune for low boost. I just do not want to take a chance in 95 degree weather. Man I wish they could aircondion the dyno!

Nope don't have my 7 back yet. Fed Ex ruined a set of turbos for someone in CA so he got mine. Whoever it was only has one car and needed them really bad and really fast. Luckily I have a couple more cars so I didn't mind helping out.

 

What turbos are you putting on? If you need stockers mine are off and were running perfect. Made 324hp at Rotary Rev. on them....

Phil, No problem.. I have already e-mailed Steve and stopped by the dyno today to cancel. I mentioned to both that we are trying for early August. (the 7th).

I'm getting the new BNR stage 3's non-seq.
I just finished my conversion to non-seq and added my v mount IC set up just before the last tuning session (when she popped). I never got to enjoy the new set up so I'm really lookong forward to getting it tuned.
I'll probably be SUPER nervous when she gets back on the roller this time...

I'm game for the 7th if it is still on. I expect Rated-R1 will be as well, when he gets back from abroad next week.

 

I will be ready if we can round up enough guys I will check with Steve and dyno... I do not think Paul counts as I understand Steve owes you the tuning... SO we need 5 more besides Paul.

and btw, im READY. . . all i need to do is install water injection. . . and we all know that its not a good idea to tune for that. . . sooooooo, im thinking about NOT installing it so that i dont start leaning toward blowing up my engine. . . hahahaha.

Hey, we have no date in writing so what ever is good for everyone works for me. I am fine with the 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, should I go on? Fall also sounds nice but I think a basic tune for now then race gas and test the motor for its limits in the fall!!

Paul, I am not done or anywere near... I just picked up the mani and dp from the ceramic shop today, (yeah, we have a guy who does very nice work very cheap) I paid $125 for both! Anyway, I should be done next week, I hope. I still need to have the piping welded up. I went with the GT40r!!!

 

I can confirm for the 7th; just need to know where to send the money. Other dates may work for me, but since I've already cleared the 7th with my wife, that's my preference.

I think I was the friend Rated-R1 mentioned, and I may have a third from our group as well.

I am a bit confused about the pricing; I saw the $65/hr for the dyno, but is Steve's time a flat fee ($300), or a base + hourly ($300 + $65/hr)?
