If GArfinkle, Rotorbrain, Me, David (w/supra) are in we only need 1 more car!!
Is this for Huntsville or Birmingham? If it is Huntsville then I am a go! If it is the B'ham I'll need to think about it.

This is for Huntsville. I spoke with Garfinkle today and he said to put him down. I think everyone is just praying to have there cars ready.
My car is sittting on jack stands waiting all parts to arrive.

Paul, are ready or pending like most?

So we have:
1. Me
2. Rated r1
3. rotorbrain
4. Garfinkle
5. David (supra)

That really is all we need but I would still like to have 1-2 more cars to be safe.. I will call Steve on Monday..

the only things i have to do are simply joyparts. nothing detrimental to getting the car on the dyno. well, i am waiting on my msd box's return from. . . msd. they sure do like to take a while. anyways, all im doing is putting on a diff brace, installing all my gauges, installing the msd box, maybe some h2o injection. . . doubt it though.

HEY, WHOS GONNA SHOW UP WITH THE ANTI-DET. DEVICE????? hahahahaha.

paul

mike, i can probably find a couple guys up here to do it. if we run out of 7's to tune. i know of another supra that might need some tuning.

Just talked with Steve. July 11th is a good day for him.. So I need money from those signed up. You can just put it my paypal account. If we, for some reason, dyno problem or Steve can not come I will refund all the money. So I am guessing since I have never done this before that I need to collect the tunning fee and 1 hour of dyno time. If you go over 1 hour then you will need to pay me the extra then.

I need to check on paypal. If they are going to charge me a fee to get the money then I need to include that. Otherwise I am up for Ideas. I guess one way is I could set it up were you make to payments, one to Steve's paypal and one to the dyno? What do you think??

How about having everyone paypal the payment for tuning, and if it's the Sound on Wheels dyno, maybe they would accept dyno payment the day of tuning... just a suggestion to keep things simple

Not unless you have non-premier account.. I have two accounts.. one non and one premier..

only down fall is that you can not accept CC payments.. just bank transfer..

Also, I think Steve is coming to Bham in 2 months.. I'm shooting for that... since my car still runs and engine and all the other stuff aren't done.

mike, are we for sure only gonna have the 5 mentioned above? cause, i really hate to pay until my car is tuned. based on what happened last time anyways. if i came out there and theres like 8 or so cars going that day. . . i dont really care to have a half tuned car is what im saying.

I guess there is no reason to pay the dyno until the day of it. I will call him and make sure that it is ok to pay the day of. As far as paying Steve, I would hate to ask him to come here to tune cars and guys not show up. I think the first 5 paid are in and the others would just have to see if they can fit in there cars. I amsure the dyno guy and Steve would stay late or stay the night to tune the next day if needed. I just do not think Steve would drive all the way here on people's word of showing up... I do not plan on having more than 6-7 cars. As I might not be ready myself. My Turbo kit should ship end of June, I pray!!!

I am sure if this does not happen Steve will just refund the funds to you but if you do not show up then you will be out $300.

No check needed. Paypal Steve $300. Bring $$ for dyno time with you. Have you spoken with Garfinkle more on this? He told me to pencil him in..

Garfinkle maybe gets the custom parts from the chrome shop this Friday . Paul will install the program for the enlarged twins from Steve K in the next few days . The motor now has low compression rotors so it will need some run in time .So It is looking good for Gar . His engine bay looks show quality . Paul can atest to the pulling power from before this last redo .

What kind of power is Garfinkle thinking out of this setup??

Brian Nickle has made guesses but he does not realize the extent of detail and planning to get the flow to be as good as David can make it with the limited resorces and money he has .Guesses are like some of the information given out on this forum , just guesses, not worth talking about . Rotorbrain has been in the car seeing 17lbs at low speeds,on the side streets, and was surprised .I have been in it ,untuned at low boost and felt an improvement . I think he wants enough power to get him to and from Huntsville .Maybe enough to keep Rotorbrain in sight ,keep up ,as they speed down the highway, even if Pauls engine looks better .

hahahaha, i think IIIII'LL be the one trying to keep up. . . as well as trying to make my engine look better. hahahaha. you guys need to quit making me feel bad!!! I KNOW I NEED TO CLEAN UP MY ENGINE BAY!!!! hahahahaha. aaaaaaaaaaanyways, im very confident that davids car will make well over 400rwhp. it feels amazing. . . and its untuned. his car will DEFINATELY be one of the major contenders at the dyno deal.

as far as paypal goes. . . david doesnt use paypal, nor does he seem to trust sending money over the internet. soooo, lets find out how the payments gonna be. steve let me pay him AFTER tuning last time.

Ok, NO PAYPAL! Steve does not want to mix that with his store stuff. We are going to do it one of two ways now. Mail check to him or pay at the dyno... This is Steves choice, not ours. I will post as soon as he tells me..

Sounds good. I'll leave Knoxville VERY EARLY on the 11th. I'll bring a new set of plugs so I can have some fresh plugs before I tune. If one of you local guys can bring a jack and some stands I would really appreciate it. If not I'll hook up my race trailer and pull my jack and stands. I'm looking forward to meeting you guys and getting my car tuned!
