Got the intercooler installed today. It was kinf od a PITA. I have the AST zip-tied in right now. I am either going to fab up a bracket for it or just eliminate it entirely. I would have taken some pics but it was pouring rain when I got finished.

 

When's the cutoff date to sign up? Or have you decided on one?

Thanks Paul, I might take you up on that.. I am sure there are a few things I could use your help on. My problem has been, 1. kit and a few other parts are not here yet and 2. with my 20 month old twin boys the only time I can work on my car is when they go to sleep. So I end up working on it from 10pm-1am throught the week. I think as long as I get the turbo kit here by the first of July it will be ok.. Thanks, Mike

Sorry 150fc.. I did not make a cut off date as I can still add people. In fact it is looking as I put this together for everyone else as my turbo kit has not arrived...... Unless it comes this week I doubt I will be tunning mine. So I am sure we can add 1-3 more guys...

July 10th is my moms and nephew's birthdays so I will be heading out for a break around 3pmish. Maybe that night we can all go for dinner or the drag strip..

I will contact Steve on tunning this week just to make sure nothing has come up for him...

 

I am still planning leaving Knoxville at Oh-my-god-it's-early-thirty on Sunday. What time are we planning on getting started?

I got my intercooler on and this week I am going to do the MP and CB. So hopefully I can have a little shakedown time to make sure everything is Kosher.

 

I'm still hoping to swing by but it doesn't look like I'll get any tuning done. I still don't have my car back yet. Maybe it will be done in time for me to cruise out to Huntsville. Is there any hotels close by the tuning session?

 

My b-day is on the 12th.. I might leave early on saturday...

 

Hotels are up and down from the shop, like less than 1 mile... The dyno is very close to everything... It is on University, one of our main roads...

I still need to here from everyone. I do not think Steve will want to show up for 1-2 cars.. Mike

I think somewhere down the line there's been a little confusion. The tunning date is Saturday, July 10th , not the 11th, which is on Sunday. Mike, you want to chime in and verify this?

 

OH.. Don, you are correct about 10th being saturday.. hmm.. please let us know mike.

 

I couldn't come if less than 5 people. It'll cost me around $300 just on gas to drive there plus time I have to take off from the shop. If you guys need to push the date back, it might be an option so that everybody can be ready for it.

The original date was the 10th (I think I may have said Saturday the 11th) But ment the 10th... Anyway I will not be ready and if we can push it back a few weeks that would be great and I also think David (supra) will be fine with this. I just felt I still needed to follow through on this even if my car was not ready for everyone else's sake..

Rated r-1, can you wait a few more weeks? We may not have a choice either way since I am out, Garfinkle is out too.

Steve, what would be another workable weekend for Huntsville?

 

Damnit. I busted my *** to get my car ready. I can wait but I am a little irritated. I NEED to have it done on July 30th. I will be out of the country the 13th through the 27th and I have a race on August 8th. SO I abslutely have to have my car tuned by then. I know there are circumstances beyond everyone's control, but you guys really have me in between a rock and a hard place now. Can we not scrounge up some more cars?
