I think Paul told me yesterday that he might be able to get couple of people.. Right Paul.. I know at least two of you definitely needs tuning.. and I would need tuning hopefully in next two months..

I'm also going to post this on different forum and see if other might need tuning.

 

If we move it I can only do it July 24th. Otherwise it would have to be in August. Nice and hot! If I could get some base maps loaded in were I could drive atleast 10-12lbs boost I would be willing to wait till fall (cooler weather).

Lets figure this out asap so I can notify Steve and dyno if its a go or no.. Sorry Rated r-1, if it does not happen. I know if my car was ready and it got cancelled I would be furious! You could always drive to Steve's shop.

 

Driving to Texas is not an option. I have a 5 month old daughter and I had to plead with my wife to let me have the time to get my car ready and let me drive down to Huntsville to get the car tuned. If I go to Dallas I am going to need a good divorce lawyer. What we should've done is had everyone pay up front, and if you couldn't make it then oh well it is up to you to sell your spot. Hopefully some more people will step in so we can go ahead and do this.

 

FYI: I just got off the phone with Steve.. I had to call him about something else.. but I went ahead and asked him about Huntsville tuning.. He's super busy and would like to finish his 20b 3rd gen.. so, he doesn't mind coming later on.. just has to be 5 or more people..

 

My vote is for the 30th then.

I can not do the 30th. I am Best man in a wedding in B-ham that weekend.

Not sure I would want to do it that way. Unless I was first on in the morning.

I have rehersal and dinner the night before, then a little drinking to do. The wedding is at noon and I am sure I have to be there way early for pics... Just does not seem like a good plan for me. I vote for August, first week.

Well we could still have the meeting here as planned. I am just waiting to here if we have 5 cars ready. I will give everyone until Monday, then I will call Steve and cancel--reschedule..

I have another car local but wants to tune for early August. Also the Supra guy is in for August as well..

My prefereence is to go with the 11th if we can get enough guys. My ONLY other option is going to be the 7th.

Like I said before, I'd rather wait until the fall than dyno a turbo rotary in August in Alabama.

That said, if a miracle occurs and my car runs before monday, I'll let you know.

 

I am thinking next weekend is off but I will give it until Monday before I notify Steve and the dyno... I would love to dyno again in the fall but just not going to wait that long before I can drive my car. **** it stays hot here up through Nov. sometimes.... Unless I can get some base maps for my setup I will do whaT ever it takes even if I tow it to Steve.

 

im out. . . im not gonna "wait". my car and myself will be in dallas on saturday morning. have fun guys. i HAVE to do something with this weekend. . . otherwise, i have a lot of people to answer to. . . one being my fiancee. hahaha.
