Jedburg?? I thought you said Charleston .... Hell, Jedburg is halfway to Columbia LOL
No, seriously ... its been a VERY long time since I have been to any of the meets, but want to
get my car ('89 Vert) back in shape, so I won't be embarrased.
I live in West Ashley (two houses up from Billy Turmpeter (RIP) if anyone remembers him), and I have sold parts or bought parts from many of you ...
I look foreward to see many of you again,
Ken

Beware of Rx7World
Yes I still have the same troublesome FD. I still haven't had the time to really dig in to the issue I am having right now but it looks like on Saturday I will have time. But of course it is suppose to rain so I will have to clear out my garage to get the car in.

New in town
I just moved from Kalamazoo Michigan to Lexington SC. I have a 1991 with a turbo swap (see details below). I saw 2 clean FCs at the Walmart off 378 today and I want to hunt down the owners. One was a black with a FMIC and a FC2000 bumper, the other was white.
I would like to start auto-crossing and drag racing my car again and looking for car clubs in the area.
I do not know if I would go to DGRR.
Thank you for your time,
Supercharged fc

Close, but not quite right. That FMIC was the relocated oil cooler. The "black" one only looks like that in low light, and it's a B-Wave front end, not RE2000. Not a big deal though. LOL.
Seriously, though, welcome to SC! I wish we had caught up with you, as it's always great to meet another 7 owner. I live in West Columbia about 6 miles from where you saw our cars, so hopefully we can cross paths soon.
My name is Reese. Mine was the dark FC. Bryan owns the white one.
Talk to ya soon!

I'm in North Charleston. I've got a 05 RX8 as a DD and a turbo convertible as a project car. Not planning on DGRR - no job and new baby = no time AND no money
I am interested in the fact that there are more Charleston RX7 folks than Jamin. I miss the MSCCNC club from Durham NC.

I'm also in Irmo - just sold my '89 TII to my son and I've been driving an '07 RX-8 as my DD. We just finished with the engine rebuild on the TII so it should be back on the road this week. Nice to see that there's more out there!

I just met Rego, he has a red r1 single turbo.he told me about a master rotary mechanic that lives in cross.I will try to get more info. The only reason i bought the zo6 is because i thought that there is no local rx7 shop around here.
