Ok, if Gianni doesn't reciprocate (and Lacy says he doesn't) then I may call you in for help. I will let you know and I do appreciate the offer. I have also thought about going with HID, when my alternator's upgraded to 140 amps from 50 I could swing it easy. That alternator was sent to me today btw from NC, according to UPS I will have it tomorrow. I hope I don't have any clearance issues with the Weber. I'm so looking forward to my fuel pump not modulating when I turn on the blinkers, lol.

I'm pretty sure that I won't have that stuff until next week. That leaves next weekend as the only one available before the meet. Are you down, or will Lacy let you play with the boys 3 weekends in a row (counting the meet).

Yeah the beach is about an hour and a half from here. There are a few swimming holes not too far away though.

I've got tools, but I would need to borrow a spring compressor from the parts store or something.

Yeah, too bad this auction is only for the driver's seat. It's from a wrecked vehicle so one rail is slightly bent. The guy is asking $300 OBO for this one. If I could find a good price on a set I'd have to buy next year's birthday present early, too.

I have a friend who has a lift and spring compressor... if doesn't have anything scheduled on it we could use it for free. He does all the work on my car that I don't want to tackle, such as suspension. He's the one I got coilovers from and installed.

I can prolly swing next weekend just fine. Im having to buy a new Pulseation damper from Mazda monday, However long it takes for them to get the part and me install it will determine much. I already put one on it last Sunday, My friend Steve gave me one that he thought was good....turns out bad too. Had the intake off and got to looking, My OMP lines are toast. Now Im premixing, I had my doubts at first but I think it has even better compression than before, and its always ran strong. Anyways if I get my PD on before next weekend, I say go.

I'm buying cheap (inexpensive) intake and a GReedy elbow. and that's it for me... Once I have that... I'm done with the car for a while. Other then the stuff I can fab myself.

Yeah but I'd have to drive up there 3 weekends in a row! Borrowing the spring compressor might be something to consider though. I don't want to firm any plans up yet until I know for certain that I will have the freaking parts. You never know how long someone will take to ship you stuff. I've got to hold off on the rear end until I get that stinking e-brake cable in from the guy I bought the LSD from, so all the brake stuff back there will be waiting for that. Mazdatrix is pretty quick though, so I should def. have the RB sway bar in, and the poly kit is supposed to ship fedex so I should have that too. Ideally I would have it all at once so I can knock it all out together, but the rear springs & shocks are a cinch to do, I've done them before. The front struts are a bitch though IIRC. I've never installed a bushing kit before, hopefully I won't need a press or something. I guess I need to do some homework before then.

Damn that sux man. At least you caught the lines before its too late! I blew the motor in my first 7 when my omp lines were broken and I didn't know anything about the car. Hopefully no damage was done to yours. What are you premixing with, 2 stroke or MMO?

Damn! That means I'll have to clean house too since my maid, er wife is gone! For the record boys I am married but we've been separated 7 months. I remain optimistic about a reconciliation but only time will tell. I just wanted to let y'all know so you didn't think I was inviting guys to stay at my house for anything other than working and partying! I'm not LOL

Right now 2 stroke. I havent driven it much, Im going to do some research though.
Current ratio 1oz per gallon, roughly 300 to 1. But at least theres an alternative, Steve has two SCCA 7 race cars and niether even have OMPs

Better get on it. My RE Amemiya ecu is on the way and I just picked up a Greddy Airinx kit from RX7.com which should arrive soon as well. Then all I'll need is the new BOV and she'll be good to go.

That would be a miracle to say the least since she's living in NYC. I don't want to go into details here but rest assured if it was my choice she'd be here.
