The last street race I almost went to 4 people died and I am damn glad my wife told me not to bother with those ***** and their childish tactics. First off you need a car that doesn't weigh 3500 lbs. and can actually turn a corner. BTW I will race on a track with a first gen and stomp the **** out of your POS. We own FBs FCs and FDs for the total package so go upgrade your brakes and suspension before you go take out someones family on the street with your tank. I don't give two ***** how fast your car is if you can't stop to save someone elses life b/c you have just proven your not smart enough to save your own so go do it somewhere else and stop trying to take my freinds with ya... The stupid shall be punished!!!

 

BTW ******* is kinda harsh, but notice I'm on that list all by myself... I can deal with reality unlike most!!!! Of course its cool Tray!! No glove box and trash for you. I am still "debating" with the wife though. Baby steps; baby steps.

I don't usually have a whole lot to say. I sit back and read the posts but don't usually comment but this time I can't hold back. I didn't appreciate the way you pulled out of my neighborhood when you were here. Peeling out of here didn't impress me in the least. All it did was **** me off and say what a stupid kid. I've already lost one best friend to an idiot driver trying to show off for his buddies. He plowed her down and left a husband and two children. Don't come back here driving like that again. You don't have the skills.

I have owned 6 RX-7s now and each of them had their quirks but they were all good cars. Only one of them has had turbos and I needed it for the adrenaline rush of the power. I'm not the best driver and I don't care about drag racing. I love the cars for the beauty of their lines, the smell they put off, the acceleration in my heartbeat when I do hit boost and sharing those experiences with the friends I have met on the forum. I don't know any other group that would volunteer to come to my house and immediately help me when my last FB was wrecked. Within minutes of posting it on the forum, I had a new rearend, people to help me put it in, and a back-up car for work in case we didn't finish. I've never seen a Firebird club.

What I saw and heard of your car was unimpressive. Its a beat up Firebird with a wanna be big block so I added an exhaust to make you think that the cow has power. Nitrous is the cheating way to get more power but you cant' use it till you're moving. Power doesn't mean **** if you can't get the beast off the line. No one is interested in racing you! Get the point and quit trying to pick a fight.

Im glad nitrous is cheating, so can u explain how its ******* cheating if all the big car magazines sell it, you know summit jegs and such....but i guess u should call them and tell them to stop selling it since its cheating....

 

actually there is an upstate Fbody club and the ppl are twice as nice as you guys ever have had time to be and we actaully all go and hang out together...

There's just some things you need to realize. You kinda went at this the wrong way. There is a time and place for racing. Most here believe that it is on a track, some of us think it's at 3 in the morning on a blocked off road (hi, that's me), while the ignorant few think that it's cool to go blasting down neighborhoods. You also drive a domestic.... we're not really interested in them, 'nuff said. There are also multiple threads here where you've asked to race. Myself and a few others have said that we will, but we're obviously not going to go out of our way to do so.

I've talked to camaro, mustang, whatever owners that have been downright ********. The other day I was talking to a cobra owner at a domestic car show that thought my car was a 4 cylinder and didn't have much power. I shrugged it off because when I went back to my car, people were taking pictures of it instead of his. I thought it was funny, but didn't go back to rub it in his face or anything.

So the bottom line is that you need to talk to the members here who have shown an interest in actually racing you. Set something up, safely, and get it done. The end.

Hey, I feel its been awhile since Ive been on this site.

Anyway, I'm currently trying out living in Charleston with my bro. I moved last Thursday.

What you're really saying is that you're not mature since you're calling people ********, jerks, etc. (most of whom you don't know I might add). Keep it up buddy, at this rate you should have tons of friends by the time you become a man. If you were smart you'd take some advice already given here numerous times and make sure your brakes and suspension are up to par before racing. Although the world probably wouldn't miss your contribution to the gene pool, you could kill someone else if your newly-found speed got out of control and you couldn't stop it.
