Cool man, thanks. I will probably hook up with Gianny first and then meet up with you around that time. If he has your #, cool, but if not then please PM it to me.
Thanks Masin

I got the GM alternator on today, nearly tripling my output from 50 to 140!
Here's a few pics in this thread:

Also, the SOB on ebay who I supposedly bought the Eibachs from tells me that they have been discontinued. Interestingly enough, he had a qty of 50 listed in his auction so I pretty much blasted him for that. I checked with another seller and they said the same thing. Fkn clueless resellers! I had heard that they were discontinued so I wasn't too surprised, just disapponited. So, I ordered a set from RB today.

hopefully minda will chime in here too, but we have lots of experience rebuilding FB suspension!! and i dont know if Gianny has my number or not, but he can get it. the only thing about this paint is this car has to be mine in order to get the discount. so you can come and give your "opinion" but you must remember, its MINE!!! lol

yep I did quite a few FB/SA suspensions its a pita to do but its not imposible the biggest problem is that the cars are indeed so old and have a lot of rust. I put all poly bushings into myne some RB springs and off the shelf shocks made a huge difference I still need to get bigger sway bars, bigger brakes and so on.

I've done the springs, shocks, and struts before on another 7 but just haven't tackled a poly kit. You might not believe this, but from looking at and feeling my original bushings I think they are still in pretty good shape, despite their age. AFAK this car was always garage kept by the 2 PO's (as it also is now) and apparently driven just enough to keep the bushings from dry rotting. It handles pretty tight right now but I know with the poly it will be even tighter.

Hey Eli, I have a foldout sofa in the living room. If you guys both bring gfs then one of you better be bringing an extra split tail for me! Can't have everyone else scroggin in my house while I'm not, LOL. Anyways man I would apprecaite the help and thank you for your offer, but I'm afraid I don't know right now. To date I have received 0 parts! so it depends on if I get them in on time. Hopefully I will know more by the first part of the week and will let you know for sure. I'm going to call RB and Mazdatrix Tuesday to get and estimate on delivery. Hopefully the holiday won't slow things up, but it might. I'd like to have you come down, we'll just have to see.

So you did order your springs? I think most of the stuff will be there by mid week,
provided everyone was on the ball and got it shipped. As far as a "split tail'' for you
goes, If my GF comes and brings one of her SEXY bitches it will be determined by whether she wants to ride in the hatch, hugging the Audiobahn 12 for 4 hrs LOL.
No mercy when it comes to my traveling JAMS. LOL again. Anyways lets just see what happens and go from there. Im excited 4 ya and hope it works out great.

Yep springs ordered from RB last night, maybe they got around to it today but I think not, they send a tracking # via email IIRC from when I ordered my exhaust. True I forget about 2 seats LOL. BTW I got my audiobahn strapped down today with my rear hatch straps, no more sliding rear counterweight!

HEEEEEEELLLL Yeah. +1 FOR Audiobahn. Umm even if everything doesnt come in, We can still tackle whats there. Oh and mine is not really straped at all, and stays put unless some old ****** makes me do a panic stop at which time I get a punch from behind the seat. Some permanent modification is In order I think. I think the RBs will serve you well, good quality! As for the urithane bushings....now thats thinking ahead!

engine runs fine...after the mishap, i cranked her up and drove her a few miles before parking it and getting it this morning with the roll back. it wasn't an engine problem at all!!!

as i've said to a few people, full story and pictures this evening, so just because a v8 goes down doesn't mean its engine...

I don't know if everything's going to be ready by the time the meet rolls around. My new ecu got here today, but RX7.com just shipped out the intakes. It's gonna be close I think.
