Yeah but I don't have a sprayer, or am I missing something? Speaking of paint, did you get your strut brace repainted? At the dyno day the guy with the FD had one and he said that the paint coming off in the middle is pretty typical of that design due to chassis flex. It was coming off in the same spot as yours. He had a difft hood though, fiberglass I think.

Early birthday present to myself
Things I purchased today for my 7:
Eibach Pro Kit Springs (-1"f -.8"r)
Tokico HP (Blue) Shocks & Struts
Energy Suspension Polygraphite Bushing Set (f&r)
Racing Beat Front Sway Bar
Stainless Steel Brake Line Kit
Rear Caliper Rebuild Kit
Rear Brake Hardware Kit
F& R slotted rotors & pads
Grand total about $1125 which I think is great for all that.
This might actually be an early Xmas present too, I can't see myself justifying throwing any more $ at this car this year.

Freebasing mountain roads
Hey man, Im glad you went with the Eibach springs. Sometimes a few extra dollars is worth it. Everything you have listed is on my wish list as well, congrats.
Oh and I like the headlights as well. I found some HID sealed beam headlights for my car on Ebay I though about scooping up, Look alright something differant. I am hoping to invest some money in my brakes soon, Just flushed all the old brake fluid out of my system not to long ago and replaced with DOT4 Synthetic. Much better brake pressure and a higher boiling point, much less fade. Prolly going to have to invest in tires before anything else, these mountain roads are hell on soft tires. Anyways keep up the quality work on my future 1st gen, you almost have it how I like em, LOL

Thanks, Eli. You can't really tell in the pic but those are diamond cut with blue led angel eye halos. I think they look pretty wicked when they're on.
Yes I went with the Eibachs because they are a little bit stiffer and the fronts are progressive. Plus, they are getting hard to come by as Eibach no longer produces them for my car. I ebayed everything on the list here except the sway bar, ss lines, caliper and hardware kits are coming from Mazdatrix.
So if its going to be yours you might as well go ahead and throw some cash in on these mods and help us both out, LOL!
PS- What happened to the member online / offline status thing on this forum? I haven't seen it since the upgrade.
Edit- DOH! That's what the little green light is for I reckon!

I just got my new VB catalog in today. They are overpriced like a ****. I did make one purchase from them, a pair of inner door handle cups and a new Mazda block logo for the front valance. That ran me about $60 total for 3 pieces of plastic, lol.
I've got a pic but its blurry as hell, if I use the flash you can't see the halos. I also replaced the dome light inside with a blue LED. Can't see **** with it, but I still have the map light so its all good. My stereo has blue around the volume **** and my sub's amp has a blue light, as well as the volume control for it so it fits the rest of the interior.

Thanks man! Yes I think the color of my car allows it, if it were any other color it would look too ghetto.
These pics were taken 2 weeks ago and I just got the airdam on yesterday.

Eli, be careful what you say because your generosity may cost you a weekend here shortly, lol. I offer a spare bedroom, food, beer, and (where applicable) to anyone helping me work on the 7!

They have the Halos and the projection HIDs on Ebay a few days ago, My head lights are square and Im not sure the angel eyes would look to good on mine (rectangle) But the HIDs were a not to bad looking I guess, something diff
