Hey guys, I've been giving some thought to getting my car repainted, and I wondered if anyone might know somewhere good here in Savannah.

Never had a car painted before, so I don't really know what to expect price wise, but I'm hoping not to spend over $1000. Going to paint it the same color, but the job on there now is mostly homemade from some previous owner, and it looks like ****, so it probably can't just be resprayed.

Anyway, I dunno **** about painting cars, so I need some help!!

Call 912-441-7291 and ask for Thomas - Tell him Justin from Carter Racing told you - he is a friend of ours that is painting cars. Current prices with materials are under $1000...

looks good on the pics, and the platform is perfect to paint the entire body to include the inside before the transfer, and the price is good

But we will see, Im thinking I might get one with a blown motor to rebuild, so I can put the one I have in the 85. Got a few months to find one.

contact justin or jay at carter racing... they are listed as asian auto in the book, if you need to look them up (carter racing is the performance side of the house if, you are wondering about the name diference)... or go to the top of this page and send carterrace a pm to contact you about more info... and yes they they do a great job supporting the rotary community!!! very well established in the community here in savannah... they hosted our 07-07-07 meet for the southeastern region as well...

well i got the 7 out for a spirited drive today, but i had to add some more fluid to the clutch master cylinder before i could go... i thought that it was odd because i had just added some weekend before last... so it should have been fine... got to lookin around and found that my drivers side floor board was wet under the floor mat... damn i'm glad i bought a rebuild kit 8 years or so ago... it has been in my glove box this whole time waiting to go in... rotarywall and i just got thru doing this to a cops first gen. like two weeks ago...lol maybe my 7 smelled the other 7 on me, got pissed off and decided it needed some of that attention!!! just like a car isn't it???

btw i saw ghostrider on waters today.... i think that is what inspired me to go for a drive today... thanks ghost!!!

Awesome, someone saw my car right after I washed it!

It's nice to know my car was an inspiration, just as long as yours doesn't inspire mine to start acting up. I drive it every day out to the airport, and it never gives a bit of trouble.

I almost got t-boned at Waters and Derenne trying to pull into a gas station, probably right after you saw me. It would've sucked if you'd have been the last to see my car before it got totalled.

BTW, for everyone to chuckle over, I found this today in the Tell-n-sell:

"MAZDA RX7 95, needs head gasket. Call 912-449-3861 Blackshear"
