Hey guys, you might have seen this already, but it's one of the longest rx7 tributes I have ever watched. It's 14 min. and has every generation rx7 and every type of motorsport in it.

Exhaust Help!

Stock 94 in need of muffler. While in shop, can I replace the cats with downpipe and midpipe without any problems?

A good rule of thumb for FD's is the third mod needs to be fuel. If your car is completely stock otherwise, you will probably be fine with a downpipe and midpipe, but if you get a performance cat back exhaust as well, you will be pushing your luck.

If you are worried, just get the downpipe and leave the main cat alone.

If you plan on changing the exhaust system, you will need a fuel management computer first, like power fc, the car need to be tune for those changes, after that it should be no problem, then concentrate in the fuel system and others go fast goodies. Or just stick with a performance exhaust like racing beat, hks or apex, this will run you arround 400 + , the cat back arround 300+ and the down pipe "many options on this one ", or look in the clasified for any offers..

and im back at the house guys....call me anytime for a good all fashion togethernes................pizza, beer and rotary talk night

Thats only the beginning. Ill be reaming blocks for oversize studs with it as well. Ill be set up for both of those by the end of the month. Ive got lots of other crazy ideas, but all in due time

If anyone is going to be around next weekend, I plan on cutting some PP's on some scrap housings, and if it goes well enough, Ill do the engine for the truck too. You are more than welcome to come hang out.

fjdrx7- thanks for the input! as i said the car is stock. these cars look like their doing 100mph standing still and with time and money would like to get mine to run like a rapped ape. which fuel management system would give me the most flexibility for any future mods to include a single turbo set-up. i am intersted in only buying the parts once. any additional help will be appreciated.

The more flexible and easy to use is the Power FC, haltec and microtech are not that easy to use and cost more and to find a good tuner for them will be costly, since all the good tuners are out of town "for RX-7s"
